技術分野
本発明はポリマーおよびオリゴマー、それらの合成方法、ならびにそれらを含む電子デバイスに関する。
本発明は電子デバイスを製造するのに有用なポリマー物質組成に向けられている。本発明の目的は広範囲の電子デバイスにおいて作用できる安定な物質組成を生成することにある。

本発明の物質組成は、たとえば、公知の製造手順に従って製造できるような広範囲の電子デバイスを製作するのに使用できる。これらのデバイスには、一色および多色デバイス、色可変デバイス、赤外発光デバイスを含むポリマー発光デバイス;2色および多色SCALEデバイスを含むいわゆるSCALEデバイス等がある。本発明の物質組成を使用できるその他のデバイスには光電流デバイスおよびポリマー系トランジスター等がある。これらのデバイスの例は、米国特許第6,004,681号;第5,955,834;第 5,858,561号;第 5,663,573号各明細書およびいくつかの継続特許出願番号09/041,337; 08/902,145; 08/901,888および 60/187,278号に開示されており、これらの特許明細書を本明細書に参照として含める。
