Claims (8)
- 少なくとも2つの環状オレフィン単量体の開環メタセシス重合によって調製される弾性共重合体を含み、前記少なくとも2つの環状オレフィン単量体は、シクロプロペン、シクロブテン、ベンゾシクロブテン、シクロペンテン、シクロヘプテン、シクロオクテン、シクロデセン、1,3−シクロオクタジエン、1,5−シクロオクタジエン、1,3−シクロヘプタジエン、シクロドデセン、1,5,9−シクロドデカトリエン、およびその混合物からなる群より選ばれ、前記共重合体は、0から30%までの結晶化度、−80℃よりも低いガラス転移温度(Tg)、および少なくとも40kg/モルの数平均分子量(Mn)を有し、各々の特性は本明細書に記載の試験手順によって定まり、結晶化度およびガラス転移温度は示差走査熱量測定(DSC)によって定められ、数平均分子量はゲル浸透性クロマトグラフィー(GPC)によって定められる、ゴルフボールのコア。
- 弾性共重合体は、0%の結晶化度、−80℃よりも低いものから−130℃まで及ぶガラス転移温度(Tg)を有し、および少なくとも40kg/モルから500kg/モルまで及ぶ数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項1に記載のゴルフボールのコア。
- 共重合体は−80℃よりも低いものから−130℃まで及ぶガラス転移温度(Tg)を有する、請求項1に記載のゴルフボールのコア。
- 共重合体は少なくとも40kg/モルから500kg/モルまでの数平均分子量を有する、請求項1に記載のゴルフボールのコア。
- 共重合体は0から20%までの結晶化度を有する、請求項1に記載のゴルフボールのコア。
- 共重合体は0%の結晶化度を有する、請求項1に記載のゴルフボールのコア。
- 共重合体は、0%の結晶化度、−80℃よりも低いものから−130℃までのガラス転移温度(Tg)、および少なくとも40kg/モルから200kg/モルまでの数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項1に記載のゴルフボールのコア。
- コアは遊離基開始剤を用いて硬化される、請求項1に記載のゴルフボールのコア。
