Description
モニタは、例えば、携帯電話ネットワークと通信する携帯電話24の送信/受信部といった外部接続デバイス22を介してリモート監視端末に対し監視された生理状態を通信する。外部接続デバイス22は、ウェアラブルモニタ12によりアラーム状態が感知されたかを決定するアラーム認識要素26を含む。連続的な取得のためにアラーム前後で監視出力を格納するためのメモリ28が、アラーム認識要素26により使用される。メモリ28は、患者10の特定の生理的機能に関連する、ウェアラブルモニタ12により送信される追加的なデータを格納することができる。接続要素30は、モバイル中継部14を携帯電話24に接続する。
Claims (20)
- 患者を監視する無線ネットワークであって、
前記患者の生理機能に関するデータを感知し、かつ通信するため前記患者に結合される生理状態センサ、
近距離身体結合プロトコルを用いて前記患者越しに通信するため前記生理状態センサと相互作用する第1の身体通信ユニット、及び
無線プロトコルを用いて前記患者越しに通信するため前記生理状態センサと相互作用する第1のRF通信ユニットを含む、少なくとも1つのウェアラブルモニタと、
前記近距離身体結合プロトコルを用いて前記第1の身体通信ユニットからデータを受信し、該第1の身体通信ユニットと通信する第2の身体通信ユニット、
前記データをリモートの医療監視端末に通信する外部通信ユニット、及び
無線プロトコルを用いて前記第1のRF通信ユニットからデータを受信し、該第1のRF通信ユニットと通信する第2のRF通信ユニットを含む、中継システムとを有し、
前記近距離身体結合プロトコルに関する通信リンクと前記無線プロトコルに関する通信リンクとが共に定期的にチェックされ、2つのリンクのうち利用可能ないずれかが使用される、無線ネットワーク。 - 前記中継システムが、携帯電話、携帯情報端末、パームトップコンピュータ、ポケットベル及びラップトップコンピュータの1つを含む、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク。
- 前記少なくとも1つのウェアラブルモニタが、
前記感知される生理状態が所定の閾値の外側にあるかを検出する前記生理状態センサと相互作用し、前記第1の通信ユニットにアラーム信号を送出させるアラームセンサを更に含む、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク。 - 前記無線身体ネットワークが、
ウェアラブルモニタ、外部通信ユニットの一方からデータを受信し、前記データを前記リモートの監視端末に送信する中継要素を更に含む、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク。 - 前記データが、無線信号を介して送信される、請求項4に記載の無線ネットワーク。
- 前記無線ネットワークが、
前記データと共に固有の患者識別子を提供する識別要素を更に含む、請求項4に記載の無線ネットワーク。 - 前記中継要素が、携帯電話ネットワーク及びインターネットの一方に受信されたデータをブロードキャストする、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク。
- 前記生理状態センサが、心拍、パルス酸素濃度計、呼吸数、血圧、温度及び心電活動のいずれかである、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク。
- 前記中継ユニットが携帯電話を含み、前記携帯電話は、該携帯電話が患者に触れる又は近接するとき、前記身体結合プロトコルを用いて送信されるデータを受信する前記第2の身体通信ユニットと、前記リモート端末に対して携帯電話ネットワークを介して前記データを通信する外部通信ユニットとを含む、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク。
- 前記ウェアラブルモニタが低電力無線送信機を含み、前記携帯電話は、前記第2の身体通信ユニットが前記患者に接触しない又は近接しないとき、前記ウェアラブルモニタから直接生理的データを受信する無線受信機を含む、請求項9に記載の無線ネットワーク。
- 前記外部通信ユニットが、無線信号を送信する無線送信機を含み、前記システムは、
前記無線信号を受信する受信機と、携帯電話ネットワーク又はインターネットを介して前記リモート端末にデータを送信する携帯電話又は携帯情報端末とを含む携帯電話ユニット又は携帯情報端末ユニットを更に含む、請求項1に記載の無線ネットワーク。 - 前記ウェアラブルモニタが、無線送信機を含み、前記携帯電話ユニット又は携帯端末ユニットの無線受信機は、両方の無線信号を受信する、請求項11に記載の無線ネットワーク。
- 無線ネットワーク内で医療情報を通信する方法において、
患者に結合されるセンサを介して前記患者の生理的状態を監視するステップと、
近距離身体結合プロトコル又は無線プロトコルのいずれか利用可能なプロトコルを用いて前記患者越しに通信する第1の通信ユニットを介して、前記センサにより感知される前記生理的状態に関連するデータを通信するステップと、
前記近距離身体結合プロトコル又は前記無線プロトコルのいずれか利用可能なプロトコルを用いて少なくとも1つのウェアラブルモニタからデータを受信するステップと、
リモートの医療監視端末に前記受信されたデータを通信するステップとを有する、方法。 - 前記感知された生理的状態データを監視するステップと、前記感知された生理的データが所定の閾値の外側にあることに応じてアラーム信号を生成するステップとを更に含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記受信されたデータを通信するステップが、
携帯電話ネットワーク又はインターネットを介して前記受信されたデータを送信するステップを更に含む、請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記受信されたデータを通信するステップが、
インターネット又は携帯電話ネットワークを介して前記データを送信する中継システムに無線信号を送信するステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。 - 無線プロトコルを用いて前記感知された生理的状態に関する前記データを通信するステップと、
携帯電話を用いて、前記無線プロトコル及び前記無線信号のいずれかを受信し、前記携帯電話ネットワークを介して前記データを再送信するステップとを更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 - 前記生理的状態が、心拍、パルス酸素濃度計、呼吸数、血圧、温度及び心電活動のいずれかである、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 無線ネットワーク内で医療情報を送信する方法において、
ウェアラブルモニタをモバイルアラーム中継システムに関連付けるステップであって、
近距離身体結合プロトコルを用いて前記ウェアラブルモニタに関連付けられる第1の通信ユニットと前記モバイルアラーム中継システムに関連付けられる第2の通信ユニットとの間の通信を初期化するステップ、
前記ウェアラブルモニタから前記モバイルアラーム中継システムに認証要求を送信し、前記モバイルアラーム中継システムから前記ウェアラブルモニタに認証鍵を返信することにより、前記ウェアラブルモニタと前記モバイルアラーム中継システムとの間の安全な通信を確立するステップ、及び
前記ウェアラブルモニタと前記モバイルアラーム中継システムとの間の追加的な通信を無線プロトコルを用いて確立するステップを含む前記関連付けステップと、
前記ウェアラブルモニタと前記モバイルアラーム中継システムとの間の前記近距離身体結合プロトコル又は前記無線プロトコルのいずれかを用いた通信がアクティブであることを確認するステップであって、
前記ウェアラブルモニタと前記モバイルアラーム中継システムとの間の通信を監視するステップ、及び
前記接続が非アクティブである場合アラームを生成するステップを含む前記確認ステップと、
前記ウェアラブルモニタにより送信されるデータが所定の閾値の外側にある場合、アラームをトリガーするステップであって、
前記ウェアラブルモニタから前記モバイルアラーム中継システムへアラームメッセージを送信するステップ、
前記モバイルアラーム中継システムから前記外部ネットワークへ前記アラームメッセージを中継するステップを含む前記トリガーステップとを有する、方法。 - 無線ネットワークを介して患者の生理的データを送信する方法において、
近距離身体結合プロトコル又は無線プロトコルのいずれか利用可能なプロトコルを用いて、ウェアラブルモニタを識別及び中継要素と関連付けするステップと、
前記識別及び中継要素とモバイルアラーム中継システムとの間の無線接続を確立するステップと、
前記ウェアラブルモニタと、前記識別及び中継要素と、前記モバイルアラーム中継システムとの間の通信がアクティブであることを確認するステップと、
前記ウェアラブルモニタにより送信されるデータが、所定の閾値の外側にある場合、前記識別及び中継要素を介して、前記ウェアラブルモニタから前記モバイルアラーム中継システムへアラームを送信するステップとを有する、方法。
