Description
また、本発明における吐出孔群3の配列は、図2に示すような格子状の配列でも、斜めにハニカム状(千鳥状)に配列させても構わない。格子状に配列させた場合は、得られる発泡体が柔軟性の高い製品となり、逆にハニカム状に配列させた場合、得られる発泡体の曲げ強度が高い製品となる。
また、本発明で使用するダイユニット4は、図4に示すように、前記領域a、a’と領域bとの間にそれぞれ領域c、c’を設け、領域c、c’の吐出孔群3の孔径をγとしたとき、その孔径の関係をα>γ>βとすることができる。また、これらの領域c、c’の位置は、特に限定されず、領域a、a’と領域bの間にあればよい。

先端に複数個のコートハンガー状の流路1を有するトーナメント状に分岐した流路2を有し、これらの流路に、吐出孔群3を有する複数のプレートからなるダイユニット4を有する装置を用意した。これらの装置の詳細は表1の通りである。これらの装置を用いて表1に記載の製造条件にて発泡体を製造した。得られた発泡体の性状を表2に示す。なお、実施例3は、複数のダイユニット4を8個組み合わせたものではなく、図5に示すように、一枚のプレート中に8個の吐出孔群3を有するダイユニット4の連続体5を用いた。この場合のダイユニット4の開孔幅W3はコートハンガー状の流路の開孔幅W2の幅と同じとして、前記領域a、a’、bの領域を決定した。

Claims (8)
- 発泡性熱可塑性樹脂を溶融させ、先端に複数個のコートハンガー状の流路(1)を有するトーナメント状に分岐した流路(2)を経て、該流路(2)毎に設けられた複数の吐出孔(3)を有する複数のダイユニット(4)から押出し、押出された発泡ストランドを集束させる熱可塑性樹脂発泡体の製造方法において、上記複数のダイユニット(4)の合計の吐出孔群(3)の幅(W1)を500〜2,500mmとすることを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂発泡体の製造方法。
- 前記コートハンガー状の流路(1)とダイユニット(4)の両者の数が、2〜16である請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記コートハンガー状の流路(1)の末端の開孔幅(W2)が、130〜450mmである請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記ダイユニット(4)の吐出孔群(3)の高さ(D1)が2mm以上で、複数のダイユニット(4)の全吐出孔群(3)の全幅をW1とした時、W1/D1が10以上である請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- ダイユニット(4)の吐出孔群(3)のうち、両外側の吐出孔群(領域aおよび領域a’)の孔径(α)が、内側の吐出孔群(領域b)の孔径(β)よりも大きい請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- α/βが、1.05〜1.40である請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- ダイユニット(4)の吐出孔群(3)の幅をW3としたとき、両外側(領域a、a’)の吐出孔群が、W3の両側端から30%の範囲内にある請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- 前記全ての吐出孔1個あたりの樹脂吐出量の比率が、80%〜100%(差が20%以内)である請求項1に記載の製造方法。
