前記中間列(4)の各ブロック(6)は、側面及び縁コーナを形成するよう前記側面と交差する接触面(60)を有し、走行中、最初に路面に接触する前記縁コーナは、前記接触面(60)と前記ブロックの先導面(61)と呼ばれている側面との交差により形成される前縁コーナに相当し、最後に接触状態から出る前記縁コーナは、前記接触面(60)と後続面(62)と呼ばれる側面の交差により形成される後縁コーナと呼ばれており、
前記先導面(61)は、前記中間列(4)の前記ブロック上で、前記前縁コーナを通る前記接触面(60)の垂線と0°よりも大きい平均角度αAをなし、前記後続面(62)は、前記後縁コーナを通る前記接触面(60)の垂線と0°よりも大きい平均角度αFをなし、前記先導面(61)の角度αAは、前記後続面の角度αFよりも大きく、同一ブロックの前記先導面と前記後続面は、前記走行面から前記トレッドの内部に向かって互いに末広がりに広がるよう差し向けられており、
少なくとも1つの中間列(4)の各ブロック(6)は、少なくとも、前記ブロックを画定する前記横断方向溝(3)の深さ(H)に等しい深さにわたり、前記ブロックの厚み中に延びる切り込み(7)を有し、前記切り込み(7)は、互いに対向した面によって画定され、前記対向した面は、少なくとも1つの方向における前記対向した面のうちの一方の他方の面に対する相対運動を制止する制止手段(71)を備え、前記切り込み(7)は、前記ブロックの前記接触面(60)を表面積が互いに実質的に等しい2つの部分に分割している、タイヤトレッドにおいて、

−前記先導面(61)と前記切り込み(7)との間に含まれる材料の体積は、前記後続面(62)と該切り込み(7)との間に含まれる材料の体積よりも少ない、タイヤトレッド。 - 前記先導面と前記切り込みとの間に含まれる材料の体積と、前記後続面と前記切り込みとの間に含まれる材料の体積との差は、大きい方の体積の少なくとも1%に等しい、請求項1記載のタイヤトレッド。
- 前記先導面と前記切り込みとの間に含まれる材料の体積と、前記後続面と前記切り込みとの間に含まれる材料の体積との差は、大きい方の体積のせいぜい15%に等しい、請求項1又は2記載のタイヤトレッド。
- 前記切り込みは、前記横断方向及び前記トレッドの前記厚みの方向における制止を行う制止手段(71)を備えている、請求項1〜3のうちいずれか一に記載のタイヤトレッド。
- 前記切り込み(7)にはその全長にわたって、前記切り込みの平均幅よりも大きい幅の部分(72)が設けられ、前記広幅部分(72)は、その端が前記ブロックの側面上に開口している、請求項1〜4のうちいずれか一に記載のタイヤトレッド。
- 所与のブロックの前記接触面上における前記切り込みの線の方向は、前記ブロックを画定する前記横断方向溝の方向のなす角度の2等分線に平行である、請求項1〜5のうちいずれか一に記載のタイヤトレッド。
- 前記トレッドの前記縁部のところのトレッドパターン要素は、切り込みを備えていない、請求項1〜6のうちいずれか一に記載のタイヤトレッド。
- 少なくとも、前記ブロックの各々の前記切り込みと前縁との間又は前記切り込みと後縁との間に位置する部分は、複数個のブロックにわたり、少なくとも1つの止まり長手方向直線状キャビティ(80)を備え、各止まり長手方向直線状キャビティは、前記トレッド表面の垂線に対して0°以外の平均角度εだけ傾けられ、角度εは、前記ブロックの前記先導面の角度αAと同一方向に向き且つせいぜい前記先導面の角度αAに等しい、請求項1〜7のうちいずれか一に記載のタイヤトレッド。
- 請求項1〜8のうちいずれか一に記載のトレッドを備えたタイヤであって、好ましい回転方向(R)を指示する可視手段を有する、タイヤ。
