Claims (7)
- 内燃機関の燃焼室に連通し排気系の一部を構成する排気マニホールドと、
前記排気系から排気を吸気通路へ導く排気還流通路と、
前記排気還流通路に形成されるとともに、前記排気マニホールドから離間した位置であって、かつ、少なくとも一部が車体上下方向に前記排気マニホールドに重なる位置に配置される触媒装置と、
前記排気マニホールドと前記触媒装置とを覆うカバー部材と
を具備することを特徴とする排気還流装置。 - 前記内燃機関は、少なくとも2つの燃焼室を有し、
前記排気マニホールドは、前記燃焼室の各々に連通する枝部と、前記各枝部が合流する合流部とを具備し、
前記触媒装置の少なくとも一部は、前記車体上下方向に、前記合流部に重なる
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気還流装置。 - 前記触媒装置は、前記カバー部材の内側に露出する少なくとも1つのフィンを具備する
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排気還流装置。 - 前記排気還流通路は、前記触媒装置の上流またはた下流の少なくとも一方に、蛇腹形状の蛇腹通路部を具備する
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のうちのいずれか1項に記載の排気還流装置。 - 前記蛇腹通路部は、前記触媒装置の上流と下流のそれぞれにおいて該触媒装置に連通する
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の排気還流装置。 - 前記燃焼室を冷却する冷媒を共通して用いるとともに、前記排気還流通路に設けられて前記排気を冷却する冷却装置を具備する
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のうちのいずれか1項に記載の排気還流装置。 - 前記排気還流通路は、前記冷却装置を迂回する迂回通路を具備する
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の排気還流装置。
