Claims (15)
- ディファレンシャル(24)、油圧ポンプ(54)、可変係合クラッチ(56)、弁(75)を含む自動車のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ(22)であって、
前記ディファレンシャル(24)は、入力(26)によって駆動されて、一対の出力(28、30)の間で回転速度を相違させるのに適し、かつ前記ディファレンシャル(24)は、前記出力(28、30)と接続されるギアアセンブリ(32)と、前記出力(28、30)を選択的でかつ可変的に結合させる一つ又は複数の油圧作動クラッチ(44)を含み、
前記油圧ポンプ(54)は、前記一つ又は複数の油圧作動クラッチ(44)を係合させるために、作動油圧を生じさせるのに適し、
前記可変係合クラッチ(56)は、前記入力(26)と前記油圧ポンプ(54)と操作接続され、前記入力(26)によって、前記可変係合クラッチ(56)の係合中に、前記油圧ポンプ(54)を選択的に駆動させて、前記一つ又は複数の油圧作動クラッチ(44)に対して作動油圧を提供し、
前記弁(75)は、前記油圧ポンプ(54)と前記一つ又は複数の油圧作動クラッチ(44)と操作接続され、前記油圧ポンプ(54)から前記一つ又は複数の油圧作動クラッチ(44)まで選択的でかつ可変的に流体圧を提供することを特徴とするディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。 - さらに、前記油圧ポンプ(54)によって生じた作動油圧を監視するための圧力センサ(82)と、前記油圧ポンプ(54)によって生じた作動油圧に応じて前記可変係合クラッチ(56)の係合の度合いを制御するのに適した制御器(84)とを有する、制御システムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記制御器(84)は、前記クラッチ(44)の係合の度合いを制御するために、前記可変係合クラッチ(56)に供給される電流を変化することができることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記可変係合クラッチ(56)は、磁性粒子クラッチを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記可変係合クラッチ(56)は、前記入力(26)と操作接続される回転可能な入力部材(64)と、前記油圧ポンプ(54)と操作接続される回転可能な出力部材(66)と、前記入力部材と出力部材(26、66)の間に配置される媒体(68)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記入力部材と出力部材(64、66)の少なくとも一つは、非磁性特徴部(70)を含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記媒体(68)は、磁性的に応答する流体であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記媒体(68)は、電気的に応答する流体であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記油圧ポンプ(54)は、ジェローターポンプであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記一つ又は複数の油圧作動クラッチ(44)は、夫々、多板式クラッチパック(46)と、作動油圧の適用に応じて移動可能なクラッチパック圧縮用作動装置(48)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- さらに、前記ディファレンシャル(24)、前記油圧ポンプ(54)、及び前記可変係合クラッチ(56)を囲むハウジングを有し、このハウジングは油だめ(58)を含み、ここから前記油圧ポンプ(54)が作動油を引出して、圧縮して、前記油圧作動クラッチ(44)に送ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記ギアアセンブリ(32)は、一対のサイドギア(34、36)と噛合する一対のピニオンギア(40)を有するリングギア(38)を含み、前記サイドギアは夫々、出力(28、30)の対応する一つと固定され、これら出力は夫々、前記油圧作動クラッチ(44)を含むディファレンシャルのハウジングを支持し、前記入力(26)は、前記リングギア(38)と噛合するピニオンギア(42)を有するピニオン軸を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記ディファレンシャルのハウジング(208a、208b)は夫々、レイシャフト(212)の回転によって駆動されるギア(210a、210b)によってほぼ囲まれて、回転駆動され、前記レイシャフトは、前記リングギア(38)によって回転駆動されるレイシャフトピニオンギア(214)を含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記一つ又は複数の油圧作動クラッチ(44a、44b)は夫々、前記出力(206a、206b)の一つとともに回転するように接続される少なくとも一つの第一摩擦部材(50)と、前記ディファレンシャルのハウジング(208a、208b)の各々と回転するように接続される少なくとも一つの第二摩擦部材(52)を有するクラッチパックを含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
- 前記制御器(84)は、前記弁(75)と操作接続された作動装置(77)に制御信号を送信するのに適し、流体圧を前記油圧作動クラッチ(44a、44b)の一方、又は双方に送るか、いずれにも送らないようにしたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のディファレンシャルのアセンブリ。
