Description
サンプル液の吸引と同時に、流体がバイアルから移動されるにつれて、サンプル・バイアル・アダプタ10の通気孔28を通して通気管の第2の端部の中へと空気が引き込まれ、通気管の第1の端部を通してサンプル・バイアル102の中へと流出する。通気孔を通してバイアルの中へ取り込まれた多量の空気は、吸引された多量の液体と入れ替わり、バイアルの中に望ましくない真空が蓄積しないようにする。
Claims (14)
- バイアル内の体液をサンプル採取する装置であって、
第1の端部と、第2の端部とを備える長形体と、
第1の円筒形チャンバを備える第1のサブアセンブリであって、当該第1の円筒形チャンバは、内腔を取り囲む壁と、当該内腔から当該壁を通して第1のサブアセンブリの外側まで延在する少なくとも一つの孔部と、を含む、第1のサブアセンブリと、
内腔と、第1の端部と、第2の端部とを備え、当該第2の端部が前記第1の円筒形チャンバの内腔で終端し、かつ当該内腔と流体連通している通気管を備える第2のサブアセンブリと、
内腔と、第1の端部と、第2の端部とを備える長手方向採取管と、
を備え、
前記長手方向採取管は、前記通気管の内腔とほぼ平行にかつ当該内腔の中に軸方向に配され、前記長形体の前記第1の端部から前記長形体の前記第2の端部まで長手方向に延在しており、当該長手方向採取管の当該第1の端部は、前記通気管の第1の端部を越えて延在し、当該長手方向採取管の当該第2の端部は、前記長形体の前記第1の端部の反対側に位置づけられ、開口し、かつ前記長形体の前記第2の端部で終端する装置。 - 前記第1のサブアセンブリが、第1の部分と、第2の部分と、当該第1の部分と当該第2の部分との間に延在する中間部分とを備え、前記第1の円筒形チャンバが、前記サブアセンブリの当該第1の部分の中に配置される請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記中間部分が、前記第1の円筒形チャンバから前記第2の部分まで延在する流路を備える請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の部分が、第2のチャンバを備える請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記第2のチャンバが、前記採取管及び前記第1のサブアセンブリの外側に流体連通している請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記第2のサブアセンブリは、前記第1のサブアセンブリと係合するための係合部分をさらに備える請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記通気管は、前記第2のサブアセンブリ内の軸方向に位置づけられている請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記通気管の前記第1の端部は、斜面と、尖状先端とを備える請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記通気管の前記第1の端部は、前記第2のサブアセンブリの外側に延在する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記採取管の外側と前記通気管の壁との間に間隙をさらに含む請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記採取管の前記内腔は、前記流路と、前記第2のチャンバと、及び前記装置の外側とに流体連通している請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記通気管の前記内腔は、前記第1の円筒形チャンバの前記内腔と、前記第1の円筒形チャンバの前記内腔から前記第1のサブアセンブリの外側まで延在する前記孔部とに流体連通している請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記係合部分は、ねじ部分を含む請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記採取管は、毛細管を含む請求項1に記載の装置。
