Description
本実施形態で用いられる液体供給部材によって液体を供給される液体吐出ヘッドとして、インクジェット記録ヘッドを例として説明する。
次に、記録素子ユニット300について説明する。
次に本発明の特徴部分を有するインク供給部材21(液体供給部材)の一部を構成するタンクホルダユニット200について、図12(b)を参照して説明する。
インク供給部材21はインクタンク40と記録素子基板H1101との間に配置されており、インクタンク40に収容されているインクを供給路224を介して記録素子基板H1101に供給する。
本発明の第1の実施形態について図1〜図5を参照して詳細に説明する。
次に、本発明の第2の実施形態について、図6および図7を用いて説明する。
次に、本発明の第3の実施形態について、図8を用いて説明する。
次に、本発明の第4の実施形態について、図9を用いて説明する。

Claims (7)
- レーザー光に対して透過性を有する透過性部材と、レーザー光に対して吸収性を有する吸収性部材とを備え、前記透過性部材及び前記吸収性部材の少なくともいずれか一方には液体を吐出する吐出口に液体を供給する供給路となる溝が設けられた液体供給部材の製造方法であって、
前記溝を内側にして前記透過性部材と前記吸収性部材とを当接する当接工程と、
前記溝の近傍に設けられており、前記透過性部材と前記吸収性部材との、前記当接がなされた当接部、に向けて、前記溝に沿って複数配置されたレーザー光源から前記透過性部材を介してレーザー光を一斉に照射し、前記透過性部材と前記吸収性部材とを前記当接部で溶着することで前記供給路を形成する形成工程と、
を有し、
前記形成工程において、前記当接部のうちの、前記溝の長手方向に関する前記溝の端部の近傍に位置する第一の部分、に対する単位面積あたりのレーザー光の総照射量が、前記当接部のうちの、前記第一の部分以外の第二の部分のうちの、単位面積あたりのレーザー光の総照射量が最も少ない部分、に対する該総照射量より多くなるようにレーザー光を照射することを特徴とする液体供給部材の製造方法。 - 複数の前記レーザー光源のうちの、前記第一の部分を照射可能な位置に設けられる少なくとも一つの第一のレーザー光源、から発せられるレーザー光の出力が、複数の前記レーザー光源のうちの、前記第一のレーザー光源以外の第二のレーザー光源、から発せられるレーザー光の出力よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体供給部材の製造方法。
- 複数の前記レーザー光源のうちの、前記第一の部分を照射可能な位置に設けられる少なくとも一つの第一のレーザー光源、の照射の時間が、複数の前記レーザー光源のうちの、前記第一のレーザー光源以外の第二のレーザー光源、の照射の時間より長いことを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の液体供給部材の製造方法。
- 複数の前記レーザー光源のうちの、前記第一の部分を照射可能な位置に設けられる複数の第一のレーザー光源のうちの、前記方向に関して互いに隣接する二つの前記第一のレーザー光源同士の間隔が、複数の前記レーザー光源のうちの、前記方向に関して互いに隣接する、前記第一のレーザー光源以外の第二のレーザー光源同士の間隔よりも、短いことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の液体供給部材の製造方法。
- 複数の前記レーザー光源のうちの、前記第一の部分を照射可能な位置に設けられる少なくとも一つの第一のレーザー光源と、前記端部の、前記方向に関する延長上に設けられ、前記第一の部分を照射するようにレーザー光を反射する反射部材、との間隔が、複数の前記レーザー光源のうちの、前記第一のレーザー光源以外の第二のレーザー光源と、該第二のレーザー光源に前記方向に関して隣接する前記レーザー光源との間隔よりも短いことを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の液体供給部材の製造方法。
- 複数の前記レーザー光源のうちの、前記第一の部分を照射可能な位置に設けられる少なくとも一つの第一のレーザー光源の周囲に、前記第一の部分を照射するレーザー光源を配置することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の液体供給部材の製造方法。
- 液体を吐出する吐出口と、該吐出口に液体を供給する液体供給部材と、を有する液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法であって、
前記液体供給部材は、レーザー光に対して透過性を有する透過性部材と、レーザー光に対して吸収性を有する吸収性部材とを備え、前記透過性部材及び前記吸収性部材の少なくともいずれか一方には前記吐出口に液体を供給する供給路となる溝が設けられており、
前記溝を内側にして前記透過性部材と前記吸収性部材とを当接する当接工程と、
前記溝の近傍に設けられており、前記透過性部材と前記吸収性部材との、前記当接がなされた当接部、に向けて、前記溝に沿って複数配置されたレーザー光源から前記透過性部材を介してレーザー光を一斉に照射し、前記透過性部材と前記吸収性部材とを前記当接部で溶着することで前記供給路を形成する形成工程と、
を有し、
前記形成工程において、前記当接部のうちの、前記溝の長手方向に関する前記溝の端部の近傍に位置する第一の部分、に対する単位面積あたりのレーザー光の総照射量が、前記当接部のうちの、前記第一の部分以外の第二の部分のうちの、単位面積あたりのレーザー光の総照射量が最も少ない部分、に対する該総照射量より多くなるようにレーザー光を照射することを特徴とする液体吐出ヘッドの製造方法。
