Description
前記軸孔の一端側に挿設された中心電極と、
前記軸孔の他端側に挿設された端子電極と、
前記絶縁体の外周に設けられた略筒状の主体金具と、
前記軸孔内において、導電性材料、ガラス粉末、及び、ガラス以外のセラミックス粒子を含む抵抗体組成物が焼結されることで形成され、前記中心電極及び前記端子電極を電気的に接続する抵抗体と
を備える内燃機関用スパークプラグであって、
前記軸線と直交する方向に沿った前記抵抗体の断面における焼結後の前記ガラス粉末である焼結ガラス粉末のうち、円形度0.8以上の焼結ガラス粉末が50%以上存在することを特徴とする。

Claims (3)
- 軸線方向に貫通する軸孔を有する略筒状の絶縁体と、
前記軸孔の一端側に挿設された中心電極と、
前記軸孔の他端側に挿設された端子電極と、
前記絶縁体の外周に設けられた略筒状の主体金具と、
前記軸孔内において、導電性材料、ガラス粉末、及び、ガラス以外のセラミックス粒子を含む抵抗体組成物が焼結されることで形成され、前記中心電極及び前記端子電極を電気的に接続する抵抗体と
を備える内燃機関用スパークプラグであって、
前記軸線と直交する方向に沿った前記抵抗体の断面における焼結後の前記ガラス粉末である焼結ガラス粉末のうち、円形度0.8以上の焼結ガラス粉末が50%以上存在することを特徴とする内燃機関用スパークプラグ。 - 前記軸線と直交する方向に沿った前記抵抗体の断面における前記焼結ガラス粉末のうち、円形度0.8以上の焼結ガラス粉末が60%以上存在することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関用スパークプラグ。
- 前記焼結ガラス粉末は、B2O3−SiO2系、BaO−B2O3系、SiO2−B2O3−BaO系、及び、SiO2−ZnO−B2O3系のガラス材料のうち、いずれか1種を含んで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関用スパークプラグ。
