Description
回転体の回転を検出して検出信号を出力する検出部と、
所定の判定期間において、前記検出信号に基づいて前記回転体の回転状態として回転方向を判定する回転状態判定部と、
前記回転状態判定部の判定結果に基づいて、前記判定期間の経過後から前記回転体の回転方向に応じてそれぞれ異なる波形の第1パルス又は第2パルスを出力させると共に、前記判定期間において、前記検出信号に同期した第3パルスを出力させるパルス生成部と、を備える点にある。
以下、本発明の実施形態を図面に基づいて説明する。図1は、回転検出センサ1の構成の一例を模式的に示すブロック図である。図に示すように、回転検出センサ1は、検出素子11を備え、回転体7の回転を検出して検出信号A、Bを出力する検出部2と、検出信号A、Bに基づいて回転体7の回転方向に応じたパルスを生成する演算部3とを備えて構成される。検出部2は、検出素子11の他、差動増幅器12、しきい値設定のためのピークホールド回路(PD)13及びボトムホールド回路(BD)14、当該しきい値に基づいて検出信号A、Bを生成するコンパレータ16を有して構成される。また、演算部3は、検出信号A、Bに基づいて回転方向の判定や、回転又は振動の区別の判定を行う回転状態判定部4と、回転状態判定部4の判定結果に基づいて出力パルスを生成するパルス生成部5とを備えて構成される。
上記、第1実施形態においては、第3パルスが、正転パルス及び逆転パルス(第1パルス及び第2パルス)とは異なる波形である場合を例として説明した。しかし、第3パルスは、正転パルス及び逆転パルス(第1パルス及び第2パルス)の何れか一方と同じ波形であってもよい。図9及び図10は、第2実施形態の判定期間におけるパルス出力例を示すタイミングチャートである。図9は、電源投入直後のイニシャライズ期間iにおけるパルス出力例を示し、図10は、回転方向が切り替わる際の振動判定期間bにおけるパルス出力例を示す。
上記、第2実施形態においては、第3パルスが、正転パルス及び逆転パルス(第1パルス及び第2パルス)の何れか一方と同じ波形である場合を例として説明した。具体的には、判定期間(i、c、b)において最初に判定された回転方向に応じたパルスと同じ波形である場合を例として説明した。しかし、第3パルスは、判定期間(i、c、b)において最初に判定された回転方向とは逆方向の回転方向に応じたパルスと同じ波形であってもよい。図11及び図12は、第3実施形態の判定期間におけるパルス出力例を示すタイミングチャートである。図11は、電源投入直後のイニシャライズ期間iにおけるパルス出力例を示し、図12は、回転方向が切り替わる際の振動判定期間bにおけるパルス出力例を示す。

Claims (3)
- 回転体の回転を検出して検出信号を出力する検出部と、
所定の判定期間において、前記検出信号に基づいて前記回転体の回転状態として回転方向を判定する回転状態判定部と、
前記回転状態判定部の判定結果に基づいて、前記判定期間の経過後から前記回転体の回転方向に応じてそれぞれ異なる波形の第1パルス又は第2パルスを出力させると共に、前記判定期間において、前記検出信号に同期した第3パルスを出力させるパルス生成部と、を備える回転検出センサ。 - 前記第3パルスは、前記第1パルス及び前記第2パルスの何れか一方と同じ波形であり、前記判定期間において最初に判定された回転方向に応じたパルスと同じ波形である請求項1に記載の回転検出センサ。
- 前記第3パルスは、前記第1パルス及び前記第2パルスの何れか一方と同じ波形であり、前記判定期間において最初に判定された回転方向とは逆方向の回転方向に応じたパルスと同じ波形である請求項1に記載の回転検出センサ。
