Claims (4)
- 直列に配置される複数の過給機として、高圧過給機と低圧過給機を直列に配置するエンジンにおいて、過給圧を検出する過給圧検出手段(72)と、少なくとも1つの前記過給機は、該過給機の排気経路(3)を短絡するバイパス経路(4)と、過給機回転数を検出する過給機回転数検出手段(71)とを備え、少なくとも、過給圧に基づいて吸気経路(2)を通過する吸気流量を調整する吸気絞り弁(40)と、過給機回転数に基づいて、前記バイパス経路(4)を通過するバイパス流量を調整するバイパス弁(24)とを備え、過給機制御の開始とともに、ECU(60)は、目標ブースト圧(Bpatrg)と、目標ターボ回転数(ωctrg) と、目標バイパス弁開度(Ebyp_trg) とを算出し、前記ECU(60)は、ブースト圧(Bpa)と目標ブースト圧(Bpatrg)との差の絶対値が所定値(α2)より小さいかどうかの第一の条件(11)と、ターボ回転数(Nta)と目標ターボ回転数(ωctrg)との差の絶対値が所定値(α3)より小さいかどうかの第二の条件(12)について判断し、前記二つの条件(11・12)を満足する場合、前記ECU(60)は、燃焼状態を最適とする過給圧にて最も効率の良い流量を制御していると判断し、目標バイパス弁開度(Ebyp_trg)を現在のバイパス弁開度(Ebyp_act)に更新し、前記二つの条件(11・12)を満足しない場合、前記ECU(60)は、前記ブースト圧(Bpa)と目標ブースト圧(Bpatrg)との差の絶対値が所定値(α2)より小さいかどうかの第一の条件(11)を満足するまで吸気絞り弁(40)を増減し、次に前記ECU60は、ターボ回転数(Nta)と目標ターボ回転数(ωctrg)との差の絶対値が所定値(α3)より小さいかどうかの第二の条件(12)を満足するまでバイパス弁(24)の開度調整を行うことを特徴とするエンジン。
- 請求項1記載のエンジンにおいて、高圧過給機用のバイパス経路(4)と、低圧過給機用のバイパス経路(7)と、両過給機の過給機回転数を検出する過給機回転数検出手段(71・75)とを備えることとし、少なくとも、過給圧及び過給機回転数に基づいて前記バイパス経路(4・7)を通過するバイパス流量を調整するバイパス流量調整手段(73・76)とを備えることを特徴とするエンジン。
- 請求項1又は請求項2に記載のエンジンにおいて、少なくとも過給機回転数に基づいて燃料噴射特性を制御する燃料噴射特性制御手段(79)を備えることを特徴とするエンジン。
- 請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンにおいて、排気ガスを吸気側へ再循環させるEGR装置と、少なくとも過給圧及び過給機回転数に基づいて前記EGR装置を通過するEGR流量を調整するEGR流量調整手段とを備えることを特徴とするエンジン。
