- SiO2 60〜75、
B2O3 10〜15、
Na2O 5〜15、
K2O 5〜10、
CaO 0.1〜1、
BaO 0.5〜3、
TiO2 >0〜1.7、
Sb2O3 0〜0.5の組成(酸化物に対して質量%で)および常用の純化剤を有する硼珪酸塩ガラスであって、
280nm〜325nmの傾斜が急な遮断波長λ c および98%を上廻る通過領域内での純粋な透過率τ ip および2mmの試験体の厚さの際の1×10 −5 の遮断領域内での光学的密度を有する、硼珪酸塩ガラス。 - SiO2 65〜75、
B2O3 10〜13、
Na2O 6〜12、
K2O 5〜10、
CaO 0.1〜0.5、
BaO 0.5〜2.5、
TiO2 >0〜1.7、
Sb2O3 0〜0.5の組成(酸化物に対して質量%で)および常用の純化剤を有する、請求項1記載の硼珪酸塩ガラス。 - 付加的に
SrO 0.5〜2.5、
MgO 0.1〜1、
Li2O 0〜5を含有する(酸化物に対して質量%で)、請求項1または2記載の硼珪酸塩ガラス。 - 不純物として含まれる場合を除き、As2O3、PbOおよびCeO2を含まない、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の硼珪酸塩ガラス。
- 280〜295nmの範囲内の遮断波長で酸化物に対してTiO2>0〜0.1質量%の含量を有する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の硼珪酸塩ガラス。
- 290〜305nmの範囲内の遮断波長で酸化物に対してTiO20.05〜0.3質量%の含量を有する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の硼珪酸塩ガラス。
- 300〜315nmの範囲内の遮断波長で酸化物に対してTiO20.16〜0.8質量%の含量を有する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の硼珪酸塩ガラス。
- 310〜325nmの範囲内の遮断波長で酸化物に対してTiO20.5〜1.7質量%の含量を有する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の硼珪酸塩ガラス。
- UVB範囲内および/またはUVC範囲内でのUV遮断フィルター用のフィルターガラスを製造するための請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載のガラスの使用方法。
- 照明テーブルまたは耐候装置用のフィルターガラスを製造するための請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載のガラスの使用方法。
- 結像光学部品、投影、遠距離通信、光学情報処理およびマイクロリソグラフィー用の光学的ガラスを製造するための請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載のガラスの使用方法。
- 560℃を上廻る転移温度Tg、7.5〜8.8 10−6/Kの熱的膨脹係数α(20/300)、275nm〜325nmの傾斜が急な遮断波長を有する請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の硼珪酸塩ガラス。
