Description
これにより、燃料電池スタックの冷却水は、熱交換器で第1冷却ルートの冷却水との熱交換によって冷却されて、燃料電池スタックを冷却することになる。
しかし、前記のような従来の燃料電池車両の冷却システムにおいて、ドレインバルブでの冷却水の結氷を解氷させるために別のヒーティング手段を使うことによって、解氷時間と解氷動力が多く消耗されるなどの問題点があった。
バルブ軸の傾斜角度とバルブシートの傾斜角度は流入管に対して35゜〜55゜の範囲が望ましい。
流入管に形成されるバルブシートの厚さは0.6mm以下に製作することにより、水滴が結氷することを最小限に止めることができ、ポペットバルブはバルブボディーとバルブシートに対して最小4mm以上に離隔することにより、ポペットバルブが水滴の結氷によって一体に固着することを防止することができる。

Claims (3)
- 出口が楕円形状のバルブシートを形成する流入管とこの流入管に平行に配置される流出管とを互いに連通するように接続し、前記流入管に対して所定角度で斜めに形成されるバルブボディーと、前記バルブボディーの内部に、前記所定角度と同一角度に傾き上下に移動可能に設置され、前記バルブシートを開閉するポペットバルブと、が備えられ、
前記流入管は前記燃料電池スタックと燃料電池スタックの前記冷却水循環経路に連結され、前記流出管は急解氷アセンブリーに連結され、前記ポペットバルブを前記バルブシートに密着しあるいは離隔することで前記流入管が開閉され、前記流入管が開かれると、前記流入管と前記流出管が連通して、前記燃料電池スタックと前記冷却水循環経路の冷却水がドレインされて前記急解氷アセンブリーに貯蔵され、前記ポペットバルブにはシリコン材のカバーが被せられ、前記流入管の内周面には水滴の付着を防止するコーティング層が形成されることを特徴とする燃料電池車両のドレインバルブ。
- 前記コーティング層は、水滴の接触角が140゜以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池車両のドレインバルブ。
- 前記バルブボディーとバルブシートは、前記流入管に対して35゜〜55゜の範囲の傾斜角度をもつことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池車両のドレインバルブ。
