Description
Claims (9)
- 画素電極とTFTを有する画素の上に配向膜が形成されたTFT基板と、前記TFT基板に対向し、カラーフィルタの上に配向膜が形成された対向基板と、前記TFT基板の配向膜と前記対向基板の配向膜の間に液晶が挟持された液晶表示装置であって、
前記配向膜は化学式(1)の構造を有するポリアミド酸エステルを有しており、かつ、前記液晶は酸化防止剤を含み、前記液晶の誘電率異方性は5以下であることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 前記配向膜は前記ポリアミド酸エステルを前駆体としていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極に対向する対向電極は前記TFT基板に形成されているIPS方式の液晶表示装置であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記配向膜は光配向によって配向処理がなされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 平面状に形成された第1の電極と、前記第1の電極の上に絶縁膜を介して配置された第2の電極と、TFTが形成された画素の上に配向膜が形成されたTFT基板と、前記TFT基板に対向し、カラーフィルタの上に配向膜が形成された対向基板と、前記TFT基板の配向膜と前記対向基板の配向膜の間に液晶が挟持された液晶表示装置であって、
前記配向膜は化学式(1)の構造を有するポリアミド酸エステルを有しており、かつ、前記液晶は酸化防止剤を含み、前記液晶の誘電率異方性は5以下であることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 前記配向膜は前記ポリアミド酸エステルを前駆体としていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記配向膜は光配向によって配向処理がなされていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1の電極は対向電極であり、前記第2の電極は櫛歯状に形成された画素電極であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1の電極は画素電極であり、前記第2の電極は櫛歯状に形成された対向電極であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
