Description
Claims (5)
- 画素電極とTFTを有する画素の上に配向膜が形成されたTFT基板と、前記TFT基板に対向し、カラーフィルタの上に配向膜が形成された対向基板と、前記TFT基板の配向膜と前記対向基板の配向膜の間に液晶が挟持された液晶表示装置であって、
前記TFT基板の前記配向膜は液晶層と接する第1の配向膜と、前記第1の配向膜の下層に形成された第2の配向膜によって構成され、
前記第1の配向膜はポリアミド酸エステルを前駆体として形成され、
前記第2の配向膜は、PMDAを含まない酸二無水物とジアミンを混合することによって形成され、かつ、スルホン酸基またはカルボキシル基を含むポリアミド酸を前駆体として形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - TFTと、コモン電極の上に画素電極が層間絶縁膜を介して形成された画素の上に配向膜が形成されたTFT基板と、前記TFT基板に対向し、カラーフィルタの上に配向膜が形成された対向基板と、前記TFT基板の配向膜と前記対向基板の配向膜の間に液晶が挟持された液晶表示装置であって、
前記TFT基板の前記配向膜は液晶層と接する第1の配向膜と、前記第1の配向膜の下層に形成された第2の配向膜によって構成され、
前記第1の配向膜はポリアミド酸エステルを前駆体として形成され、
前記第2の配向膜は、PMDAを含まない酸二無水物とジアミンを混合することによって形成され、かつ、前記層間絶縁膜の膜厚は770nm以上であることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記液晶表示装置の背面から光を照射している場合において、前記対向電極と前記画素電極の間に直流電圧を印加した場合、直流電圧印加直後の輝度をB1とし、その後、輝度が一定になった場合の輝度をB2とした場合、初期の輝度B1から、輝度がB2+(B1−B2)×0.368になる時間をTとした場合、
前記光の輝度がIのときのTをT1とし、
前記光の輝度がI×10のときのTをT2としたとき、
T1/T2は3以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記T1は輝度Iが1000cd/m2のときに30分以下であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記液晶のプレティルト角は0度であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の液晶表示装置。
