Claims (6)
- 液晶表示装置の配向膜に用いられる配向膜材料であって、
ポリアミド酸エステルと、
ベンゼン環を有さない酸二無水物とジアミンとから形成され、PMDAを用いずに形成されたポリアミド酸とからなり、
前記ジアミンは、スルホン酸基またはカルボキシル基を含み、
前記配向膜化された際に、輝度Iの光を照射した場合のDC輝度緩和時定数T1、輝度I×10の光を照射した場合のDC輝度緩和時定数T2とした場合に、T1/T2が3以下である、ことを特徴とする液晶用配向膜材料。 - 配向膜は光配向型の配向膜であり、
前記ポリアミド酸エステルは、光分解性の部位を有していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の液晶用配向膜材料。 - 前記配向膜材料は、前記ポリアミド酸エステルと前記ポリアミド酸とが混合された液であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れかに記載の液晶用配向膜材料。
