Claims (9)
- スライダの端面に設けられた絶縁膜と、該絶縁膜の中に設けられた再生素子、記録素子および記録媒体を加熱する加熱機構を有し、熱アシスト記録を行う磁気ヘッドスライダにおいて、
前記加熱機構の近傍に、一端面が浮上面に露出し、熱伝導率が前記絶縁膜よりも高い材料で構成された放熱膜を有し、
前記放熱膜は、浮上面に対向する面の断面積が浮上面に近づくほど徐々に大きくなっていることを特徴とする磁気ヘッドスライダ。 - 前記記録素子は、下部磁極と、浮上面と反対側において前記下部磁極と磁気的に接続された上部磁極と、前記下部磁極と上部磁極で構成される磁気回路を周回するライトコイルとを有し、前記加熱機構は前記上部磁極の中に実装され、前記放熱膜は前記上部磁極の上側に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気ヘッドスライダ。
- 前記記録素子は、下部磁極と、浮上面と反対側において前記下部磁極と磁気的に接続された上部磁極と、前記下部磁極と上部磁極で構成される磁気回路を周回するライトコイルとを有し、前記加熱機構は前記上部磁極の中に実装され、前記放熱膜は前記上部磁極の上側に配置される第1放熱膜と、下側に配置される第2放熱膜であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気ヘッドスライダ。
- 前記絶縁膜はAl2O3であり、前記放熱膜はAu、Cu、NiFeおよびWの中から選択される一種類の金属あるいは二種類以上の金属合金、またはAl2O3−TiCおよびSiCのいずれかあるいはこれらの化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気ヘッドスライダ。
- 前記放熱膜は、浮上面に対向する面の幅が浮上面に近づくほど徐々に広がっていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気ヘッドスライダ。
- 前記放熱膜は、浮上面に近づくほど徐々に厚くなっていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気ヘッドスライダ。
- 前記放熱膜は、前記加熱機構の両側に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気ヘッドスライダ。
- 前記加熱機構の両側に設けられる放熱膜は、浮上面に対向する面の断面積が浮上面に近づくほど徐々に大きくなっていることを特徴とする請求項7記載の磁気ヘッドスライダ。
- 前記放熱膜は、前記加熱機構の周囲を取り囲むように設けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気ヘッドスライダ。
