Claims (3)
- 平行バーと、上記平行バーの両端に連結されるベンディング部と、一端が上記ベンディング部に連結され、他端がサスペンションアームへ連結されるレッグバーと、を有する自動車用スタビライザーバーにおいて、
上記レッグバーは、上記ベンディング部の一端から他端にテーパーされ、
上記レッグバーの断面積は、上記ベンディング部の一端から他端に行くほど小さくなり、
上記レッグバーの断面は、楕円形で形成され、
上記楕円形の長径方向は、上記サスペンションアームから上記レッグバーの他端に加えられる荷重方向と一致することを特徴とする連続変化断面を有するスタビライザーバー。 - 平行バーと、上記平行バーの両端に連結されるベンディング部と、一端が上記ベンディング部に連結され、他端がサスペンションアームへ連結されるレッグバーと、を有する自動車用スタビライザーバーの製造方法において、
丸棒形のスタビライザーバーの素材を切断する段階;
上記素材のうちレッグバーに形成される部分を加熱する段階;
上記加熱されたレッグバーに形成される部分の側面をテーパーするように一次圧延加工する段階;
上記レッグバーに形成される部分を上記素材の軸を中心に回転させる段階;
上記レッグバーに形成される部分の上記一次圧延加工されていない側面をテーパーさせると同時に、断面部の形状が楕円形に形成されるように二次圧延加工する段階;
上記レッグバーに形成される部分の他端を鍛造加工してアイフォームを形成する段階;及び、
上記素材をスタビライザーバーの形状にベンディング成形する段階を含み、
上記ベンディング成形する段階は、上記レッグバーの楕円形の長径方向が上記サスペンションアームから上記レッグバーの他端に加えられる荷重方向と一致するようにベンディング成形するスタビライザーバーの製造方法。 - 上記素材は、上記一次及び二次圧延加工により伸びる長さだけ製造寸法より短く切断されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のスタビライザーバーの製造方法。
