更に、ツーウェイクラッチを第2状態とすることで、電動機モードの発電電動機によってエンジン側を駆動できるので、発電電動機の駆動源としての一層の活用を図ることができる。
また、エンジンブレーキを掛けながら電動機モードの発電電動機を駆動することで、蓄電手段のエネルギーを効率良く放出することができ、蓄電手段の過充電を防止できる。
また、前記作業負荷検出手段により検出された抵抗負荷が大きい場合は、前記ツーウェイクラッチを前記第2状態として、電動機モードの前記発電電動機及び前記エンジンの駆動力を前記負荷に伝達して作業を行う。
この構成により、エンジンによる負荷の駆動を電動機モードの発電電動機がアシストする形となり、例えば低出力タイプのエンジンを採用した場合でも、高出力の作業を十分に遂行することができる。
一方、ツーウェイクラッチ112を図2(c)の状態としたときは、非駆動もしくはアイドリング状態等の低回転エンジン111に対して発電電動機113が外輪52を矢印B方向へ駆動させると(エンジン111がアイドリング状態等の低回転時は、その回転を相当程度上回る回転で発電電動機113が外輪52を矢印B方向に駆動させると)、コロ53が外輪52に引き摺られるようにして図2(c)の右方向に移動してカム軸51と外輪52との間に食い込む形となるので、外輪52の上記回転はカム軸51へ伝達され、カム軸51(即ち、エンジン111のクランク軸)を矢印Bと同方向へ駆動する力を発生させることができる。
記ツーウェイクラッチ112は、エンジン111側から発電電動機113を駆動できるが、発電電動機113側からはエンジン111を駆動できない状態(即ち、図2(a)に示す第1状態)とされる。また、発電電動機113は発電機モードとされる。
112が第1状態とされているので、発電電動機113が荷役ポンプ117を駆動する際にエンジン111側から大きな負荷(エンジンブレーキ)が加わってしまうこともない。

更に、ツーウェイクラッチ112を適宜第2状態とすることで、電動機モードの発電電動機113によってエンジン111側を駆動することも可能になる。

- エンジンと、発電電動機と、前記エンジンと前記発電電動機との間に介設されるツーウェイクラッチと、蓄電手段と、エンジン又は発電電動機の少なくとも何れか一方によって駆動される負荷と、作業時の抵抗負荷の大きさを検出する作業負荷検出手段と、を備え、
前記発電電動機は、前記エンジンの駆動力を前記ツーウェイクラッチを介して発電電動機に伝達して発電を行い前記蓄電手段に蓄電する発電機モードと、前記蓄電手段から駆動電力の供給を受けて電動機となる電動機モードの何れかのモードとされ、
前記ツーウェイクラッチは、前記エンジンから前記発電電動機への駆動力の伝達を許容し発電電動機からエンジンへの駆動力の伝達を阻止する第1状態と、前記発電電動機から前記エンジンへの駆動力の伝達を許容しエンジンから発電電動機への駆動力の伝達を阻止する第2状態と、の間で切換可能に構成されており、
前記作業負荷検出手段により検出された抵抗負荷が小さい場合は、前記ツーウェイクラッチを前記第1状態とし、且つ前記エンジンを停止又はアイドリング状態とするとともに、前記電動機モードの発電電動機によって前記負荷を駆動して作業を行い、
前記作業中に前記作業負荷検出手段が抵抗負荷の所定以上の増大を検出すると、電動機モードの前記発電電動機の出力を増大させつつ前記エンジンの回転数の増大を開始し、発電電動機の回転数にエンジン回転数が追従すると、第1状態の前記ツーウェイクラッチが自動的に繋がり、このツーウェイクラッチを介して前記エンジンの駆動力を前記負荷に伝達して作業を行い、

前記発電電動機は、前記エンジンの駆動力を前記ツーウェイクラッチを介して発電電動機に伝達して発電を行い前記蓄電手段に蓄電する発電機モードと、前記蓄電手段から駆動電力の供給を受けて電動機となる電動機モードの何れかのモードとされ、
前記ツーウェイクラッチは、前記エンジンから前記発電電動機への駆動力の伝達を許容し発電電動機からエンジンへの駆動力の伝達を阻止する第1状態と、前記発電電動機から前記エンジンへの駆動力の伝達を許容しエンジンから発電電動機への駆動力の伝達を阻止する第2状態と、の間で切換可能に構成されており、
前記作業負荷検出手段により検出された抵抗負荷が小さい場合は、前記ツーウェイクラッチを前記第1状態とし、且つ前記エンジンを停止又はアイドリング状態とするとともに、前記電動機モードの発電電動機によって前記負荷を駆動して作業を行い、
前記作業中に前記作業負荷検出手段が抵抗負荷の所定以上の増大を検出すると、電動機モードの前記発電電動機の出力を増大させつつ前記エンジンの回転数の増大を開始し、発電電動機の回転数にエンジン回転数が追従すると、第1状態の前記ツーウェイクラッチが自動的に繋がり、このツーウェイクラッチを介して前記エンジンの駆動力を前記負荷に伝達して作業を行い、
前記作業負荷検出手段により検出された抵抗負荷が大きい場合は、前記ツーウェイクラッチを前記第2状態として、電動機モードの前記発電電動機及び前記エンジンの駆動力を前記負荷に伝達して作業を行うことを特徴とする、産業車両の荷役装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の産業車両の荷役装置であって、
前記ツーウェイクラッチを前記第2状態としつつ電動機モードの前記発電電動機で前記エンジンのクランク軸を駆動することで、エンジンを始動可能に構成されていることを特徴とする産業車両の荷役装置。
