図1、2、3において、11は前後方向に延びる略円筒状をしたシリンダバレルであり、このシリンダバレル11内には図示していない駆動モータから駆動力を受けて回転するスクリュー12が収納されている。前記シリンダバレル11の後端部には該シリンダバレル11内にシート状あるいはペレット状の未加硫ゴムKを案内するホッパー(図示せず)が設けられ、このホッパーを通じてシリンダバレル11内に供給された常温(コールド)の未加硫ゴムKは前記スクリュー12の回転により熱入れされながら前方に向かって流動する。このとき、該未加硫ゴムKは自身の流動変形、シリンダバレル11、スクリュー12との摩擦抵抗等により発熱して温度が上昇する。
前述のような押出し装置により未加硫ゴムKを帯状部材Bとして押出す場合には、まず、スクリュー12が回転している熱入れ機17内に常温の未加硫ゴムKを投入するとともに、該未加硫ゴムKをスクリュー12により熱を入れ、みかけ粘度を下げながらシリンダバレル11内を前方(先端側)に向かって流動させる。その後、前記スクリュー12の回転によりかなりの程度あるいはほぼ均一に熱入れされた未加硫ゴムKを押出し口16から一旦帯状体Zとして押出す。
Claims (7)
- 未加硫ゴムに対して熱入れし帯状体として押出す熱入れ機と、前記熱入れ機から離隔した位置に設置され、供給された未加硫ゴムを押出して帯状部材を成形するギアポンプ式の押出し機と、押出し機より上流側にこれに近接して設置され、熱入れ機から押出され空中を通過してきた帯状体をそのまま引き込んで押出し機に無定形の未加硫ゴムとして押込む押込み手段とを備え、前記熱入れ機と押込み手段との間に張り渡された帯状体にフェスツーンを設け、前記押込み手段は、等速で逆方向に回転するとともに、間を前記帯状体が通過する一対のフィードローラを有している帯状部材の押出し装置。
- 前記押込み手段は、押出し機と一対のフィードローラとの間に設置され、フィードローラ間を通過してきた未加硫ゴムを押出し機に押込む押込みギアポンプをさらに有する請求項1記載の帯状部材の押出し装置。
- 前記押込みギアポンプは、前記押出し機の一方のギアに噛み合う噛み合いギアと、前記押出し機の他方のギアおよび前記噛み合いギアの双方から離れて配置されるとともに、前記噛み合いギアと逆方向に等速で回転し、外周が平滑な円周面である押込みローラとを備えた噛み合い式のギアポンプである請求項2記載の帯状部材の押出し装置。
- 前記噛み合いギアに前記押出し機のギアから駆動力を付与することにより、噛み合いギアを駆動回転させるようにした請求項3記載の帯状部材の押出し装置。
- 前記押出し機、フィードローラおよび押込みギアポンプに、対応する別々の駆動機構から駆動力を付与することにより、これらを駆動するようにした請求項2記載の帯状部材の押出し装置。
- 前記押出し機、フィードローラおよび押込みギアポンプに1台の駆動機構からの駆動力を分配付与することにより、これらを駆動するようにした請求項2記載の帯状部材の押出し装置。
- 前記熱入れ機に投入される未加硫ゴムは、ML1+4(100℃)の値が40〜 200の範囲内のゴムである請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の帯状部材の押出し装置。
