[具体例1]
図1から図4は、本実施の形態における連続繊維プリプレグの成形方法の具体例1を説明する図である。図1(a)は、プリプレグテープを模式的に示す図、図1(b)は、プリプレグテープの捲回方法を概念的に示す斜視図、図1(c)は、図1(b)の平面図である。
図7〜図9は、連続繊維プリプレグの成形方法の具体例2を説明する図である。具体例2において特徴的なことは、成形工程において、連続繊維プリプレグ12を最終形状に成形した後に、連続繊維プリプレグ12を部分的にプリプレグテープ11の積層方向に溶着して仮留めを行うこと、および、硬化工程において、その仮留めされた連続繊維プリプレグ12を射出成型装置の射出金型51内にセットして射出成形を行うことである。なお、捲回工程と弛みとり工程については、具体例1と同様であるのでその詳細な説明を省略する。

Claims (3)
- 複数本の一方向連続繊維がテープ状に整列されて熱可塑性樹脂が含浸されたプリプレグテープからなる連続繊維プリプレグの成形方法であって、
前記プリプレグテープを複数本のロッドの間に亘って捲回して周状の連続繊維プリプレグを形成する捲回工程と、
前記複数本のロッドを互いに離反する方向に移動させて前記連続繊維プリプレグに張力を発生させて前記プリプレグテープの弛みをとる弛みとり工程と、
前記連続繊維プリプレグを押し治具で押して最終形状に成形する成形工程と、
前記連続繊維プリプレグを加熱し該加熱後に冷却して硬化させる硬化工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする連続繊維プリプレグの成形方法。 - 前記成形工程では、
前記連続繊維プリプレグを部分的に前記プリプレグテープの積層方向に溶着して仮留めを行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の連続繊維プリプレグの成形方法。 - 前記硬化工程では、仮留めされた連続繊維プリプレグを射出成形装置の射出金型内にセットして射出成形を行い、該射出成形時に射出金型内に射出される溶融材料の熱を利用して、前記連続繊維プリプレグを加熱することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の連続繊維プリプレグの成形方法。
