粘着剤層は、前述のように、アクリル系重合体を主成分として含むアクリル系重合体組成物と、粘着付与樹脂を主成分として含む粘着付与剤とを含有するアクリル系粘着剤により形成されているので、主として、フォギング現象の発生に関係する揮発成分または低分子成分は、粘着付与剤中に含有されている場合がある。
粘着付与剤は、粘着付与樹脂を主成分として含んでいる。このような粘着付与樹脂としては、特に制限されないが、例えば、ロジン系粘着付与樹脂、テルペン系粘着付与樹脂、炭化水素系粘着付与樹脂、エポキシ系粘着付与樹脂、ポリアミド系粘着付与樹脂、エラストマー系粘着付与樹脂、フェノール系粘着付与樹脂、ケトン系粘着付与樹脂などが挙げられる。粘着付与樹脂は単独で又は2種以上組み合わせて使用することができる。
アクリル系重合体組成物は、アクリル系重合体を主成分として含んでいる。前記アクリル系重合体は、アクリル系粘着剤のベースポリマー(粘着剤の基本成分)として用いられている。このようなアクリル系重合体としては、特に制限されないが、主構成単量体成分(モノマー主成分)として、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル(アクリル酸アルキルエステル、メタクリル酸アルキルエステル)が用いられていることが好ましい。前記(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルとしては、例えば、下記式(1)で表されるアクリル系化合物を好適に用いることができる。
粘着剤層を形成するためのアクリル系粘着剤には、必要に応じて、架橋剤が用いられていてもよい。架橋剤としては、特に制限されず、公知乃至慣用の架橋剤(例えば、イソシアネート系架橋剤、エポキシ系架橋剤、オキサゾリン系架橋剤、アジリジン系架橋剤、メラミン系架橋剤、過酸化物系架橋剤、尿素系架橋剤、金属アルコキシド系架橋剤、金属キレート系架橋剤、金属塩系架橋剤、カルボジイミド系架橋剤、アミン系架橋剤など)の中から適宜選択して用いることができる。また、粘着剤層を形成するためのアクリル系粘着剤には、必要に応じて、その他の添加剤(例えば、pH緩衝剤、中和剤、発泡防止剤、安定剤、老化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、酸化防止剤、光安定剤、剥離調整剤、可塑剤、軟化剤、充填剤、着色剤(顔料や染料など)、界面活性剤、帯電防止剤など)が含まれていてもよい。
本発明の粘着シート類では、支持体としては、基材や、剥離ライナーを好適に用いることができる。前述のように、支持体が基材である場合、粘着シート類は、基材付き粘着シート類であり、支持体が基材ではなく、剥離ライナーである場合、粘着シート類は、基材レス粘着シート類である。従って、基材付き粘着シート類における剥離ライナー[例えば、図1(a)〜(c)における剥離ライナー4など]は、支持体には含まれないが、基材レス粘着シート類における剥離ライナー[例えば、図1(e)や(f)における剥離ライナー4など]は、支持体に含まれる。このように、支持体としての剥離ライナーは、粘着剤層を支持しているとともに、粘着剤層の表面を保護することができる。
支持体において、剥離ライナーとしては、特に制限されず、公知の剥離ライナーから適宜選択して用いることができる。剥離ライナーとしては、剥離処理剤による剥離処理層を少なくとも一方の表面に有する基材を好適に用いることができ、また、フッ素系ポリマー(例えば、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン、ポリクロロトリフルオロエチレン、ポリフッ化ビニル、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、テトラフルオロエチレン・ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体、クロロフルオロエチレン・フッ化ビニリデン共重合体等)からなる低接着性基材や、無極性ポリマー(例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等のオレフィン系樹脂など)からなる低接着性基材なども用いることができる。
本発明において、粘着シート類は、粘着剤層を有するシート状物の形態を有している又は有することができるシート状粘着性物を意味している。具体的には、粘着シート類には、粘着テープ、粘着シート、粘着フィルム、粘着ラベルなどが含まれる。
冷却管、窒素導入管、温度計および攪拌機を備えた反応容器(セパラブルフラスコ)を用い、重合開始剤として2,2´−アゾビス[N−(2−カルボキシエチル)−2−メチルプロピオンアミジン]ハイドレート(商品名「VA−057」和光純薬工業株式会社製):0.1部と、イオン交換水:40部とを投入し、窒素ガスを導入しながら、1時間攪拌して、60℃に昇温させた。その後、アクリル酸ブチル:68部、アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル:29部、アクリル酸:2.9部、およびポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル硫酸ナトリウムを26重量%含有する水溶液(乳化剤):8部を、水24.3部に添加して乳化させたものを、前記反応容器に、60℃で攪拌させながら、4時間かけて滴下し、さらに3時間熟成を行った。重合後、10%のアンモニア水を添加して、pHを8に調整して、水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物を調製した。この水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物に、水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物中のアクリル系重合体:100部に対して、粘着付与剤として商品名「04−021」(荒川化学工業株式会社製;不均化ロジンエステル;分子量300以下の成分の割合:2.76重量%)を固形分換算で30部加えて攪拌して混合した後、さらに、増粘剤(商品名「アロン B−500」東亜合成株式会社製)を固形分換算で0.5部加えて攪拌して混合することにより、水分散型アクリル系粘着剤を得た。
粘着付与剤として商品名「スーパーエステルE−720」(荒川化学工業株式会社製;安定化ロジンエステル;分子量300以下の成分の割合:3.92重量%)を水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物中のアクリル系重合体:100部に対して固形分換算で30部用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粘着シート(両面粘着シート)を作製した。
粘着付与剤として商品名「04−039」(荒川化学工業株式会社製;重合ロジンエステル;分子量300以下の成分の割合:4.06重量%)を水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物中のアクリル系重合体:100部に対して固形分換算で30部用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粘着シート(両面粘着シート)を作製した。
粘着付与剤として商品名「04−039」(荒川化学工業株式会社製;重合ロジンエステル;分子量300以下の成分の割合:4.06重量%)を水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物中のアクリル系重合体:100部に対して固形分換算で20部用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粘着シート(両面粘着シート)を作製した。
粘着付与剤として商品名「04−020」(荒川化学工業株式会社製;不均化ロジンエステル;分子量300以下の成分の割合:4.63重量%)を水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物中のアクリル系重合体:100部に対して固形分換算で30部用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粘着シート(両面粘着シート)を作製した。
粘着付与剤として商品名「ナノレットR1050」(ヤスハラケミカル株式会社製;芳香族変性エステル;分子量300以下の成分の割合:7.00重量%)を水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物中のアクリル系重合体:100部に対して固形分換算で30部用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粘着シート(両面粘着シート)を作製した。
粘着付与剤として商品名「スーパーエステルE−865」(荒川化学工業株式会社製;重合ロジンエステル;分子量300以下の成分の割合:7.12重量%)を水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物中のアクリル系重合体:100部に対して固形分換算で30部用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粘着シート(両面粘着シート)を作製した。
粘着付与剤として商品名「ハリエスターSK−508H」(ハリマ化成株式会社製;重合ロジンエステル;分子量300以下の成分の割合:8.50重量%)を水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物中のアクリル系重合体:100部に対して固形分換算で30部用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粘着シート(両面粘着シート)を作製した。
粘着付与剤として商品名「タマノルE−200」(荒川化学工業株式会社製;ロジンフェノール;分子量300以下の成分の割合:8.71重量%)を水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物中のアクリル系重合体:100部に対して固形分換算で30部用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、粘着シート(両面粘着シート)を作製した。
実施例及び比較例において用いられた粘着付与剤について、分子量300以下の成分の割合は、粘着付与剤中の粘着付与樹脂の分子量(重量平均分子量)を下記の方法により測定して求めた。
(分子量測定方法)
粘着付与剤をテトラヒドロフラン(THF)に溶解させて、粘着付与剤の1g/LのTHF溶液を調製し、0.45μmのメンブレンフィルターでろ過したものを、GPC測定装置[TOSOH株式会社製の「HLC−8120GPC;カラム:TSKgel SuperHZ2000/HZ2000/HZ1000/HZ1000/HZ1000(60mmI.D.×150mm、40℃);流量:0.6mL/分;検出器:RI]にて測定し、ポリスチレン換算により分子量を算出する。
実施例及び比較例で得られた各粘着シートについて、フォギング試験反射率(ドイツ工業規格DIN75201に従ったフォギング試験による反射率)、フォギング試験付着量(ドイツ工業規格DIN75201に従ったフォギング試験による付着量)、接着力、保持力を、下記の方法により測定又は評価した。その結果を表1に示す。
フォギング試験反射率は、ドイツ工業規格DIN75201−Rに従って実施する。具体的には、各粘着シートを、直径80mmの円形状に切断し、一方の側の剥離ライナー(剥離紙)のみを剥離させた状態で、100℃のオイルバスにより加熱されているビーカー(外径:90mm、内径83.6mm、高さ:190mm;高さが130mmの所まで、100℃のオイルバスに浸っている)の内部の底に、剥離ライナーの剥離により露出した粘着面が上側となる形態で静置し、さらに、ビーカーの上面に、常に21℃に冷却されているガラス板を設置する(フォギング測定器:装置名「N8−FOG」HAAKE社製)。その状態で、3時間放置した後、ガラス板を取り出し、ガラス板のビーカー内部側の表面について、入射角60°で入射光を入射させた際の反射率(「試験後のガラス板の60°入射反射率」と称する場合がある)(%)を、商品名「REFO 60 REFLEKTOMETER」(PRLANGE社製)を用いて求める[試験後のガラス板の60°入射反射率(%)=試験後のガラス板への入射光の強度/試験後のガラス板に入射光を入射させた際の反射光の強度×100]。なお、予め、試験を行う前のガラス板の表面についても、入射角60°で入射光を入射させた際の反射率(「試験前のガラス板の60°入射反射率」と称する場合がある)(%)を、前記と同様の装置を用いて求めておく[試験前のガラス板の60°入射反射率(%)=試験前のガラス板への入射光の強度/試験前のガラス板に入射光を入射させた際の反射光の強度×100]。そして、下記式(1)を用いて、フォギング試験反射率(%)を算出する。

フォギング試験付着量は、ドイツ工業規格DIN75201−Wに従って実施する。具体的には、各粘着シートを、直径80mmの円形状に切断し、一方の側の剥離ライナー(剥離紙)のみを剥離させた状態で、100℃のオイルバスにより加熱されているビーカー(外径:90mm、内径83.6mm、高さ:190mm;高さが130mmの所まで、100℃のオイルバスに浸っている)の内部の底に、剥離ライナーの剥離により露出した粘着面が上側となる形態で静置し、さらに、ビーカーの上面に、常に21℃に冷却されているアルミニウム製シート(いわゆる「アルミホイル」)を設置する(フォギング測定器:装置名「N8−FOG」HAAKE社製)。その状態で、16時間放置した後、アルミニウム製シートを取り出し、その重量(試験後のアルミニウム製シートの重量)を測定する。なお、予め、試験を行う前のアルミニウム製シートの重量(試験前のアルミニウム製シートの重量)も測定しておく。そして、下記式(2)を用いて、フォギング試験付着量(mg)を算出する。

各粘着シートを、一方の側の剥離ライナーを剥がして、厚さ25μmのポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)製基材に貼り付け、幅20mm、長さ100mmのサイズに切断し、その後、他方の側の剥離ライナーを剥がして、粒度280番の研磨紙で磨いたステンレス(SUS)製板に、重さ2Kg重のゴムローラーを1往復させる方法にて圧着し、23℃又は70℃の環境下で30分間放置後、引張試験機を用いて、23℃又は70℃の雰囲気中にて剥離に要する力(180°ピール、剥離速度300mm/分)を測定する。
各粘着シートを一方の側の剥離ライナーを剥がして、厚さ25μmのポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)製基材に貼り付け、幅10mmのサイズに切断し、その後、他方の側の剥離ライナーを剥がして、フェノール樹脂製板に対し10mm×20mmの接触面積で貼り付け、一晩放置後(12時間放置後)、さらに40℃の雰囲気下で30分間放置させた後、23℃の環境下で、フェノール樹脂製板を垂下し、粘着シート類の自由端に500gの均一荷重を負荷し、1時間放置後に、粘着シート類がずれた距離を測定し、この距離を保持力とする。従って、保持力は、数値(ずれた距離)が小さいほど良好である。

Claims (2)
- アクリル系重合体を主成分として含むアクリル系重合体組成物と、不均化ロジンエステル又は重合ロジンエステルである粘着付与樹脂を主成分として含む粘着付与剤とを含有するアクリル系粘着剤による粘着剤層を、少なくとも有している、自動車内装材の固定の際に用いられる、粘着テープ、粘着シート、粘着フィルム及び粘着ラベルからなる群より選ばれたいずれか一つである粘着シート類であって、
前記アクリル系重合体組成物が、前記アクリル系重合体が水に分散された形態で含まれている水分散型アクリル系重合体組成物であり、
前記アクリル系重合体を構成するモノマー成分全量に対して、(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステルの割合が50重量%以上であり、
前記粘着付与剤が、前記粘着付与樹脂が水に分散された形態で含まれている水分散型粘着付与剤であり、
前記粘着付与樹脂において、分子量が300以下の成分の割合が、粘着付与樹脂の固形分全量に対して4.2重量%以下であり、
前記粘着付与樹脂の割合が、前記アクリル系重合体:100重量部に対して、15〜80重量部であり、
ドイツ工業規格DIN75201に従ったフォギング試験における反射率および付着量が、それぞれ、80%以上、2.0mg以下であることを特徴とする粘着シート類。 - 水分散型粘着付与剤において、分子量が300以下の成分の割合が、水分散型粘着付与剤中の粘着付与樹脂および乳化剤の総量としての固形分全量に対して4.2重量%以下である請求項1記載の粘着シート類。
