Description
1.青色・緑色・赤色の3色の発光ダイオードを組み合わせる
2.青色発光ダイオード(以下、青色LEDと略す場合がある)と、青色の発光を受けて、青色の補色である黄色の蛍光材料を組み合わせる
3.紫外線LED、紫外線LEDの発光を受けて、青色・緑色・赤色を発光する3種類の蛍光材料を組み合わせる
4.青色LEDと、青色LEDの発光を受けて赤色・緑色を発光する蛍光材料を組み合わせる、等の方法が検討されている。
本発明の黄色発光蛍光体を、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。

Claims (8)
- 一般式Ca1-xAlSi4N7:Euxで表されるカルシウム(Ca)、アルミニウム(La)、シリコン(Si)、ユーロピウム(Eu)、窒素(N)からなり、前記一般式においてxは0.001<x≦0.15を満足する黄色発光蛍光体。
- 青色の発光と前記青色の補色を発光する蛍光体とを組み合わせた白色発光素子であって、前記蛍光体が請求項1に記載の黄色発光蛍光体である白色発光素子。
- 前記青色の発光が、青色発光素子からの青色の発光であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の白色発光素子。
- 更に、前記青色発光素子の発光受けて赤色を発光する赤色発光蛍光体および緑色を発光する緑色発光蛍光体を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の白色発光素子。
- 前記青色の発光が、紫外線発光素子の紫外線を受けて発光する青色であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の白色発光素子。
- 更に、前記紫外線発光素子の紫外線を受けて、緑色を発光する緑色発光蛍光体および赤色を発光する赤色発光体を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の白色発光素子。
- 前記紫外線発光素子の発光が、波長300〜400nmの紫外線であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の白色発光素子。
- 請求項2の白色発光素子を用いたことを特徴とする照明装置。
