図1と図2に示された濾過装置10は、濾過槽11と濾材ユニット12を備えている。濾過槽11の材料は鉄系などの磁性材料である。濾過槽11の上部にカバー筐体13が設けられている。濾過槽11の内部に、濾材ユニット12の下側に位置するダーティ室15と、濾材ユニット12の上側に位置するクリーン室16とが形成されている。クリーン室16の上部は隔壁17によって気密に閉塞されている。
図3は、濾材ユニット12の一部を拡大して示す断面図である。この濾材ユニット12は、波形に形成されたメッシュ部材(パンチングメタル)からなる仕切り板30,31と、これら仕切り板30,31によって囲まれるケースである濾材収容部32と、濾材収容部32に収容された磁性球濾材33とを備えている。

Claims (4)
- 微粒子を含むダーティ液を濾過するための濾過装置であって、
前記ダーティ液が導入される濾過槽と、
磁性材料からなる多数の球形の金属球を集合させてなり、各金属球が互いに動きうる状態で前記濾過槽の内部に収容された磁性球濾材と、
前記磁性球濾材に対し第1の位置と上側の第2の位置とに相対移動可能な磁石であって、前記濾過槽内の前記磁性球濾材を収容した濾材ユニットに形成されている磁石収容部に挿入された磁石ガイド内に上下方向に移動可能に収容され、前記第1の位置において前記金属球に磁界を与えることによって前記各金属球どうしを磁気的に吸着させて互いに固定し、前記第2の位置において前記各金属球どうしの磁気的な吸着を解除し前記各金属球どうしを動きうる状態とする磁石と、
前記ダーティ液の濾過時に前記磁石を前記磁石ガイドに沿って前記第1の位置に移動させ、前記磁性球濾材の洗浄時に前記磁石を前記磁石ガイドに沿って前記第2の位置に移動させる保持手段と、
前記磁性球濾材の下側に形成され前記ダーティ液を導入するダーティ室と、
前記磁性球濾材の上側に形成され前記磁性球濾材を通って濾過されたクリーン液を収容するクリーン室と、
前記クリーン室に接続され、前記磁性球濾材の洗浄時で前記磁石が前記第2の位置にあるとき前記クリーン室に圧縮エアを供給し前記クリーン室内に前記圧縮エアの圧力を与えることにより前記クリーン室内のクリーン液を前記磁性球濾材を経て前記ダーティ室に押し出すエアバルブを備えたエア供給管と、
前記ダーティ室の下方に配置され、前記磁性球濾材の洗浄時に前記ダーティ室内に落とされた液中のスラッジを処理するスラッジ処理装置と、
を具備したことを特徴とする濾過装置。 - 前記磁性球濾材を構成する前記金属球は、表面が平滑なスチールボールであり、かつ、これらスチールボールの直径が互いに同等であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の濾過装置。
- 前記磁性球濾材を構成する前記金属球は、表面が平滑なスチールボールであり、かつ、互いに直径が異なる複数種類のスチールボールが混合されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の濾過装置。
- 前記金属球は、波形に形成されたメッシュ部材からなる仕切り板によって囲まれる濾材収容部に収容され、該メッシュ部材の孔径が前記スチールボールの直径よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の濾過装置。
