さらにカーボンブラック100重量部に対し、有機色素誘導体または複素芳香族環誘導体(D)を0.1から20重量部含有することを特徴とする磁気記録媒体用塗料組成物に関する。

実施例1において表1の有機色素誘導体D5を表1の有機色素誘導体D6、D7に変更し、実施例1と同様の方法で比較例1、2を作成した。
[比較例3]
実施例1において表1の有機色素誘導体D5の添加量5部を0.05部に変更し、実施例1と同様の方法で比較例3を作成した。
[比較例4]
実施例1において表1の有機色素誘導体D5の添加量5部を25部に変更し、実施例1と同様の方法で比較例3を作成した。

実施例2において表1の有機色素誘導体D5を表1の有機色素誘導体D6、D7に変更し、実施例1と同様の方法で比較例5、6を作成した。
磁気記録媒体用組成物の粘度を液温25℃に調整した後、BL型粘度計において60rpm1分後の値を測定した。
[中心線平均粗さ]
塗工物の表面を触針式表面粗さ計(触針径1ミクロン)によりJIS−B−0601−1982に基づきカットオフ値0.08で測定し、表面粗さの評価指標である中心線平均粗さRaを求めた。Raは小さいほど平滑であり、分散状態が良好でする事を示す。
[塗膜光沢]
塗工物の表面の60゜における光沢度を、光沢計(日本電色製VG−2000)を用いて測定した。分散が良好な状態であるほど高い光沢度を示す。
磁気記録媒体用組成物を40℃で1ケ月保存した後、再び塗料粘度測定、塗工、塗膜評価を行い初期品位と比較した。初期品位との乖離が少ないほど、塗料安定性が良好である事を示す。
Claims (4)
- 少なくともカーボンブラックと、有機色素誘導体または複素芳香族環誘導体(D)と、結合剤と、溶剤とを含有する磁気記録媒体用塗料組成物であって、有機色素誘導体または複素芳香族環誘導体(D)が下記一般式(1)で示される有機色素誘導体または複素芳香族環誘導体(D1)と下記一般式(2)で示される有機色素誘導体または複素芳香族環誘導体(D2)とを含み、D1:D2の重量比が5:95〜40:60であることを特徴とする磁気記録媒体用塗料組成物。

n:1〜4の整数 - カーボンブラック100重量部に対し、有機色素誘導体または複素芳香族環誘導体(D)を0.1から20重量部含有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気記録媒体用塗料組成物。
- 非磁性支持体に対し、互いに反対面に磁性層とバック層とを有する磁気記録媒体であって、該バック層が請求項1又は2に記載の磁気記録媒体用塗料組成物を含むことを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。
- 非磁性支持体の一方の面に、非磁性下層と磁性層とが重層された構成を有する磁気記録媒体において、非磁性下層が、請求項1又は2に記載の磁気記録媒体用塗料組成物であることを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。
