Claims (6)
- 光ファイバからなる光伝送路の端部同士をスリーブを介して接続し、その接続部で前記光伝送路の通信光の有無を検知する通信光検知器において、前記スリーブ内の前記接続部に設けられ、前記光伝送路の端部同士と接合すると共に、前記光伝送路のコアを貫通する光検知用溝及びその光検知用溝に充填される屈折率整合剤を有する光検知接合体と、前記光検知接合体の上方に設けられ、前記光検知用溝を介して漏れる通信光の漏れ光を検知する光検知部とを備え、前記光検知用溝は、前記光検知接合体の長手方向に沿った溝幅が50〜150μmであることを特徴とする通信光検知器。
- 前記光検知接合体の外周に前記光検知部を収容する収容溝が形成されており、その収容溝に前記光検知用溝が形成されている請求項1記載の通信光検知器。
- 前記光検知用溝は、前記光伝送路の光軸に対して斜めに交差するように傾斜させて形成される請求項1または2記載の通信光検知器。
- 前記光検知部は、漏れ光を受光する受光素子と、前記受光素子にて受光した漏れ光を可視光に変換する光出力部とを備える請求項1〜3いずれかに記載の通信光検知器。
- 前記スリーブは、前記光検知用溝を介して漏れる通信光の漏れ光の一部を透過するセラミックスからなる請求項1〜4いずれかに記載の通信光検知器。
- 前記光検知部は、その故障の有無を知らせる故障検知部をさらに備える請求項1〜5いずれかに記載の通信光検知器。
