Claims (7)
- 光ファイバからなる光伝送路の端部同士をスリーブを介して接続し、その接続部で前記光伝送路の通信光の有無を検知する通信光検知器において、前記スリーブ内の前記接続部に設けられ、前記光伝送路の端部同士と接合すると共に、前記光伝送路のコアと異なる外径のコア部を有する光検知接合体と、前記光検知接合体の上方に設けられ、前記光検知接合体を介して漏れる通信光の漏れ光を検知する光検知部とを備えることを特徴とする通信光検知器。
- 前記光検知接合体は、その軸方向の長さが前記光伝送路のコアから、前記漏れ光を受光する前記光検知部の受光面までの距離と同等である請求項1記載の通信光検知器。
- 前記光検知接合体は、前記コア部の周囲に設けられて前記光伝送路のクラッドと同じ外径のクラッド部をさらに備える請求項1又は2記載の通信光検知器。
- 前記光検知接合体は、フェルールを備える請求項1〜3いずれかに記載の通信光検知器。
- 前記光検知部は、前記漏れ光を受光する受光素子と、前記受光素子にて受光した前記漏れ光を可視光に変換する光出力部とを備える請求項1〜4いずれかに記載の通信光検知器。
- 前記光検知部は、その故障の有無を知らせる故障検知部をさらに備える請求項1〜5いずれかに記載の通信光検知器。
- 前記スリーブは、前記光検知接合体を介して漏れる通信光の漏れ光の一部を透過するセラミックスからなる請求項1〜6いずれかに記載の通信光検知器。
