Description
したがって、そのような数多くの層を基板上に形成し、パターニングするための工程が行われ、一般的に化学的な気相蒸着方法、スパッタリング方法、フォトレジスト方法など、多様な方法が用いられる。但し、基板上には数多くの層が形成されなければならず、その形成工程が複雑な場合には、生産性が落ちるため、大量生産をするには簡単な工程方法を適用することが必要である。

Claims (13)
- 印刷ロールに被印刷物をコーティングする印刷装置と、
突出部を具備して、前記印刷ロールにコーティングされた被印刷物のうち一部が前記突出部に転写されて前記印刷ロールに所望の形状のパターンを形成させる印刷版とを備え、
前記印刷装置は、
複数のノズル部を含む胴体部と、
前記胴体部の内部に形成され、被印刷物を収容するための複数の収容溝と、
前記複数のノズル部のそれぞれに形成され、前記複数の収容溝と連結して被印刷物を対
象物体にコーティングするための少なくとも一つのスリットと、
前記複数の収容溝に被印刷物を供給するために、前記複数の収容溝とそれぞれ連結され
る複数のサブ供給管と、
前記複数のサブ供給管と連結されて前記複数のサブ供給管を一つに連結するメイン供給
管とを含み、
前記メイン供給管には前記複数のサブ供給管に供給する被印刷物の流量を調節するメイ
ンバルブが形成され、前記複数のサブ供給管のそれぞれに流量調節のためのサブバルブが
形成されていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造装置。 - 前記複数の収容溝に残存する物質を外部に排出するために、前記複数の収容溝とそれぞれ連結される複数の排出管を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の製造装置。
- 前記胴体部は複数のサブ胴体部を含み、
前記サブ胴体部は、それぞれサブノズル部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の製造装置。 - 前記複数のサブ胴体部の間にスペーサが形成され、スペーサの幅によって前記ノズル部のスリットサイズが決定されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置の製造装置。
- 前記収容溝は、前記複数のサブ胴体部のうち、一部のサブ胴体部に形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置の製造装置。
- 前記収容溝は、前記複数のサブ胴体部のそれぞれに形成された溝の結合によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置の製造装置。
- 前記被印刷物は、ブラックマトリックス物質、カラーフィルター物質、フォトレジスト物質、及びオーバーコート層の物質のうち何れか一つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の製造装置。
- 複数のノズル部を含む胴体部と、前記胴体部の内部に被印刷物を収容するための少なくとも一つの収容溝と、前記複数のノズル部にそれぞれ形成され前記複数の収容溝と連結される少なくとも一つのスリットとを含む印刷装置を用いて、前記スリットから被印刷物を流出させて印刷ロールをコーティングする工程と、
突出部のある印刷板上で前記印刷ロールを回転させて前記印刷ロールにコーティングされた被印刷物のうち一部が前記突出部に転写されて前記印刷ロール上に所望の形状のパターンを形成する工程と、
基板上に前記所望の形状のパターンを塗布するために、前記印刷ロールを前記基板上で回転させる工程と
を含む液晶表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記印刷ロールをコーティングする工程は、ブラックマトリックス物質、カラーフィルター物質、フォトレジスト物質、及びオーバーコート層の物質のうち何れか一つをコーティングすることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記印刷ロールをコーティングする工程は、前記印刷ロールに均一な厚さで被印刷物をコーティングすることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記胴体部は、サブノズル部を含む複数のサブ胴体部を含み、
前記ノズル部のスリットの大きさを決定するために、前記サブ胴体部の間にスペーサが形成されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。 - 複数の収容溝に被印刷物を供給するために、前記複数の収容溝とそれぞれ連結される複数のサブ供給管を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
- 前記複数のサブ供給間のそれぞれに、流量調節のためのサブバルブが形成されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の液晶表示装置の製造方法。
