Description
上記変性されたポリブタジエンゴムのビニル含量が35質量%以下であることが好ましい。
なお、上記ポリブタジエンとは、後述する変性ポリブタジエンゴムもその1種として含む概念である。
なお、ビニル含量(1,2−結合ブタジエン単位量)は、赤外吸収スペクトル分析法によって測定できる。
シリカのN2SAは好ましくは220m2/g以下、より好ましくは200m2/g以下である。シリカのN2SAが220m2/gを超えると、シリカが凝集しやすく、充分な分散が得られない傾向がある。

表1に示す配合処方にしたがい、バンバリーミキサーを用いて、硫黄及び加硫促進剤以外の薬品を混練りし、混練り物を得た。次に、オープンロールを用いて、得られた混練り物に硫黄及び加硫促進剤を添加して練り込み、未加硫ゴム組成物を得た。更に、得られた未加硫ゴム組成物を165℃の条件下で25分間プレス加硫し、加硫ゴム組成物(加硫ゴムシート)を得た。
得られた各未加硫ゴム組成物をそれぞれトレッドの形状に成型し、他のタイヤ部材とともに貼り合わせて加硫することにより、各実施例及び比較例の試験用スタッドレスタイヤ(タイヤサイズ:195/65R15)を製造した。
実施例及び比較例で得られた加硫ゴム組成物(加硫ゴムシート)について、(株)岩本製作所製の粘弾性スペクトロメータを用い、周波数10Hz、初期歪10%、振幅±0.25%および昇温速度2℃/minの条件下で、tanδの温度分布曲線を測定した。そして、測定した温度分布曲線における最も大きいtanδ値に対応する温度をtanδピーク温度(Tg)として決定した。tanδのピーク温度(Tg)が低温であるほど、硬度の上昇を小さくし、氷上グリップ性を向上できることを示す。
実施例及び比較例で得られた加硫ゴム組成物(加硫ゴムシート)について、JIS K6253の「加硫ゴム及び熱可塑性ゴム−硬さの求め方」に準じて、タイプAデュロメーターにより、0℃における各加硫ゴムシートの硬度を測定した。なお、硬度が小さいほど、雪氷上性能が優れることを示す。
実施例及び比較例で得られた加硫ゴム組成物(加硫ゴムシート)について、JIS K6264−2「加硫ゴムの摩耗試験方法」に準じて、(株)岩本製作所製のランボーン摩耗試験機を用いて、試験片(厚さ5mm)の表面回転速度40m/min、スリップ率20%、付加荷重15N、打粉剤落下量20g/minの条件下で、ランボーン摩耗量を測定した。更に、測定したランボーン摩耗量から容積損失量を計算し、比較例1の容積損失量を100とし、下記計算式により、各加硫ゴムシートの容積損失量を指数表示した。なお、ランボーン摩耗指数が大きいほど、耐摩耗性能に優れることを示す。

実施例及び比較例で得られた試験用スタッドレスタイヤ(タイヤサイズ195/65R15)について、テスト車両として、国産のFR車(2000cc)を用いて、氷板上で時速30km/hからの制動停止距離を測定し、比較例1を基準として、下記式から氷上制動指数を計算した。なお、氷上制動指数が大きいほど、氷上制動性能に優れることを示す。なお、テストを実施する前に試験用タイヤの表面をならすために、ならし走行を、おのおの100km実施した。
(氷上制動指数)=(比較例1の制動停止距離)/(停止距離)×100
また、変性ポリブタジエンゴム(BR(2))を少量しか用いなかった比較例3は、耐摩耗性能と氷上制動性能とが、実施例に比べて劣っていた。
また、実施例1および2と同量の変性ポリブタジエンゴム(BR(2))を用いた比較例4は、シリカの配合量が少ないため、耐摩耗性能と氷上制動性能とが、実施例に比べて劣っていた。
更に実施例では0℃の硬度が49〜51であるため、剛性も維持されていた。
Claims (6)
- 天然ゴム及びポリブタジエンゴムの合計含有量が80質量%以上であるジエン系ゴムと、シリカと、カーボンブラックとを含有し、
前記ジエン系ゴムは、ブタジエンゴムと下記式(1)で表される化合物とを接触させることにより得られる下記式(1)で表される化合物により変性されたポリブタジエンゴムを10質量%以上含有し、
前記ジエン系ゴム100質量部に対するシリカの含有量が10〜150質量部、チッ素吸着比表面積が50〜110m2/gのカーボンブラックの含有量が3〜50質量部であるスタッドレスタイヤ用トレッドゴム組成物。
- tanδピーク温度(Tg)が−40℃以下、0℃における硬度が64以下である請求項1に記載のスタッドレスタイヤ用トレッドゴム組成物。
- ジエン系ゴム中の天然ゴムの含有量が35〜80質量%である請求項1又は2に記載のスタッドレスタイヤ用トレッドゴム組成物。
- 前記変性されたポリブタジエンゴムのビニル含量が35質量%以下である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のスタッドレスタイヤ用トレッドゴム組成物。
- 前記ゴム組成物は、N−シクロヘキシル−2−ベンゾチアゾリルスルフェンアミドを含有する請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のスタッドレスタイヤ用トレッドゴム組成物。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のトレッドゴム組成物を用いて作製したトレッドを有するスタッドレスタイヤ。
