Description
Claims (7)
- ドライブアクスル(27、29)へ駆動トルクを伝達するように作動するドライブライン(17)を有する車両に使用するのに適した油圧システム(11)に使用する制御バルブアセンブリ(43)であって、
前記油圧システム(11)は、
前記ドライブライン(17)から駆動トルクを受けるためのポンプモード及び前記ドライブライン(17)に駆動トルクを伝達するためのモータモードで作動可能なポンプ−モータユニット(35)と、前記ポンプ−モータユニット(35)の第1ポート(A)に当該制御バルブアセンブリ(43)を介して流体接続され、これにより、前記ポンプ−モータユニット(35)が前記ポンプモードにあるとき、前記第1ポート(A)から加圧流体が供給され、また、前記ポンプ−モータユニット(35)が前記モータモードにあるとき、加圧流体を前記第1ポート(A)へ供給する高圧アキュムレータ(41)とを備え、
当該制御バルブアセンブリ(43)は、
ポペットシート(87)を形成するバルブハウジング(83)及び前記高圧アキュムレータ(41)に流体接続するポート(84)を含み、更に、
(a)制御キャビティ(89)を形成するメインポペット部材(79)を備え、前記制御キャビティ(89)内の流体圧力が前記メインポペット部材(79)を前記ポペットシート(87)へ向って付勢し、
(b)前記ポンプモード又は前記モータモードのいずれかにおいて、前記高圧アキュムレータ(41)と前記ポンプ−モータユニット(35)の前記第1ポート(A)との間のほぼ全ての流れは、前記メインポペット部材(79)及び前記ポペットシート(87)を通過して流れ、
(c)開弁及び閉弁状態を有し、電気的入力信号(133)に応答して、前記制御キャビティ(89)から低圧源(50)への流体接続を制御するように作動するパイロットバルブアセンブリ(49)を備え、
(d)前記高圧アキュムレータ(41)から前記バルブハウジング(83)によって形成された前記ポート(84)を介して前記制御キャビティ(89)への流体接続を制御して、前記制御キャビティ(89)内の流体圧力が比較的高いとき、比較的大きい第1流量オリフィスを形成し、また、前記制御キャビティ(89)内の流体圧力が比較的低いとき、比較的小さい第2流量オリフィスを形成して前記パイロットバルブアセンブリ(49)へ比較的小さい流れを供給するように作動するステップ−オリフィスバルブアセンブリ(47)を備えていることを特徴とする制御バルブアセンブリ。 - 前記メインポペット部材(79)は、前記バルブハウジング(83)によって形成された前記ポート(84)の流体圧力が前記制御キャビティ(89)内の流体圧力とほぼ等しいとき、当該メインポペット部材(79)が閉弁位置へ付勢されて前記ポペットシート(87)にシール係合するように、該ポペットシート(87)に対して形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の制御バルブアセンブリ。
- 前記制御キャビティ(89)内に比較的緩い圧縮ばね(88)が配置されて、前記制御キャビティ(89)内の流体圧力を補助して、前記メインポペット部材(79)を前記ポペットシート(87)へ向って付勢することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の制御バルブアセンブリ。
- 前記メインポペット部材(79)は、前記ポペットシート(87)から径方向外側に配置されてポンプ−モータユニット(35)の前記第1ポート(A)に流体接続する外側ポペット領域79Pを設けるように前記ポペットシート(87)に対して形成され、これにより、前記ポンプモードにおいて、ポンプとして作用する前記ポンプ−モータユニット(35)によって発生された圧力が、当該メインポペット部材(79)を開弁位置へ付勢して、前記ポンプ−モータユニット(35)からの流れを許容して前記高圧アキュムレータ(41)を加圧することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の制御バルブアセンブリ。
- 前記ステップ−オリフィスバルブアセンブリ(47)は、前記ポンプ−モータユニット(35)が前記ポンプモードにあるとき、前記制御キャビティ(89)内の流体圧力を前記ポート(84)内の流体圧力にほぼ等しく維持するように作動し、これにより、前記ポンプ−モータユニット(35)が前記ポペットシート(87)から径方向外側に配置された前記外側ポペット領域(79P)に加圧流体を供給するように加圧するのを止めたとき、前記メインポペット部材(79)が前記圧縮ばね(88)の作用下で迅速にその閉弁位置へ戻って前記ポペットシート(87)にシール係合することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の制御バルブアセンブリ。
- 比較的小さい前記第2流量オリフィス(119)は、前記モータモードでの作動中、当該第2流量オリフィス(119)を通して、開弁状態の前記パイロットバルブアセンブリ(49)へ比較的少ないパイロット流れがあるように選定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の制御バルブアセンブリ。
- 前記パイロットバルブアセンブリ(49)は、開弁状態にあるとき、当該パイロットバルブアセンブリ(49)を通るパイロット流れが前記ステップ−オリフィスバルブアセンブリ(47)を通る流れよりもかなり大きくて、前記制御キャビティ(89)内の流体圧力を実質的に低下させるような寸法とされ、これにより、前記ステップ−オリフィスバルブアセンブリ(47)を前記高圧アキュムレータ(41)から前記制御キャビティ(89)への流体接続のみが比較的小さい前記第2流量オリフィス(119)を通るような位置へ移動させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の制御バルブアセンブリ。
