Claims (5)
- 上下方向に延在する4つのハウジングコラム(1)を備え、
前記ハウジングコラムはそれぞれソールプレート(6)に固定され、
前記各ハウジングコラム内には、それぞれ、上下軸線方向への摺動が規制された状態で回転可能に支承された引張スピンドル(3)が配置され、
前記各引張スピンドルの上端部及び下端部には互いに逆方向のねじ部が設けられ、前記ねじ部に上クロスビーム(4)および下クロスビーム(5)が螺合することで、前記ねじ部を介して上下のワークロールおよびバックアップロールからなるロールセットが、互いに上下逆方向に変位可能であり、
さらに、前記各ハウジングコラム(1)により、上下のロールチョック(2)が案内されると共にそれらに介在するベンディングブロックが保持され、前記上ロールチョック(2)の上方に、前記上クロスビーム(4)に付設された上バックアップロールチョックが配置される一方、前記下ロールチョック(2)の下方には、下バックアップロールチョック(8)が配置され、前記下クロスビーム(5)と前記下バックアップロールチョック(8)との間に、前記ロールセットに圧延力を付加するためのショートストローク圧下シリンダ(7)が配置され、
前記各引張スピンドル(3)と前記各ロールチョック(2)とが前記ハウジングコラム(1)の内外に別々に配置されることにより、前記各ロールへの力の伝達と前記各ロールチョック(2)の案内とを独立して行えるように構成されている、ロールスタンド。 - 前記各バックアップロールおよび前記各バックアップロールチョックを上下各1組有する4重式ロールスタンド、または、前記各バックアップロールおよび前記各バックアップロールチョックを上下各2組有する6重式ロールスタンドであることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のロールスタンド。
- 前記上クロスビーム(4)と前記上バックアップロールチョックとの間に補助圧下シリンダが配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のロールスタンド。
- 前記引張スピンドル(3)のねじ部がセルフロック式に設計されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のロールスタンド。
- 請求項1記載のロールスタンドにおいて、先ず、未負荷のロールスタンド内で前記引張スピンドル(3)を操作し前記上下のバックアップロールおよび前記上下のワークロールを互いに接近させてパスラインに対する所定位置に移動させ、次いで、前記ショートストローク圧下シリンダ(7)を介してロール圧下力を調整することを特徴とするロールスタンドの調整方法。
