Claims (6)
- 基材(52)を溶融し、溶融プロセス中に低酸化物ボンディングコートを形成するための方法であって、
基材(52)の溶融しようとする領域の周囲に不活性雰囲気を維持し、ここで、不活性雰囲気の維持は、局所環境保護セル(10)を用いてプラズマアークの周囲を真空にすることを含んでなり、
基材(52)を溶融し、基材(52)の前記領域に、後縁及び前縁を有する溶融池を形成し、
溶融池が固化する際又は固化する前に、基材(52)上にボンディングコート層を形成するのに有効な量の粉末を前記後縁に選択的に付着させる
ことを含んでおり、前記局所環境保護セル(10)が、プラズマアークを形成するためのプラズマスプレーガン(14)の外周(15)と係合してなる環状リング(12)を備えていて、前記環状リング(12)が、基材(52)の上に位置する開口を有する複数の流路(20)を含んでいて、基材(52)から粒子状物質、未反応粉末、オゾン及びヒュームを真空下で除去する、方法。 - 溶融池の形成が、プラズマ移行型アーク手段(54)でプラズマを形成し、基材領域の一部分をプラズマに暴露することからなる、請求項1記載の方法。
- さらに、熱溶射プロセスでボンディングコート上に断熱皮膜を設置することを含んでなる、請求項1又は請求項2記載の方法。
- プラズマ移行型アーク手段(54)におけるプラズマの形成が、プラズマ移行型アーク手段(54)の電極と基材(52)との間にアークを形成し、不活性ガスをアークに流すことからなる、請求項3記載の方法。
- ボンディングコートがMCrAlYからなり、ここでMはFe、Ni、Co、及びNiとCoの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 基材(52)の上でプラズマアークを形成し、キャリヤーガス中の粉末(74)を基材(52)に送達してボンディングコートを生成させることを含んでなる、請求項1記載の方法。
