Abstract

50gのPraxair CrC−107(Cr3C2)、50gのニッケル基ろう合金(19Cr−10Si−残部Ni)、10gのPEO溶液及び10gの脱イオン化水を含有するスラリーを混合し、テープキャストして厚さ0.050インチの生テープを形成した。Nicrobraze4Bバインダーを用いて、生テープをHast−X基体に付着した。このサンプルを2215°Fで20分間ろう付けし、テープを下側の基体に融合させた。金属組織分析により、ろうが皮膜を完全に緻密化するには不十分であることが分かった。
50gのPraxair CrC−107(Cr3C2)、5gのPEO溶液及び5gの脱イオン化水を含有するスラリーを混合し、テープキャストして厚さ0.050インチの生CrCテープを形成した。この生CrCテープを市販の厚さ0.010インチのAmdry100ろうテープと組み合わせて生2層テープを形成した。Nicrobraze4Bバインダーを用いて、この生2層テープをHast−X基体に付着した。積層順序はHast−X基体−生CrCテープ−GE81テープであった。このサンプルを2215°Fで20分間ろう付けし、テープを下側の基体に融合させた。金属組織分析により、ろうがCrCテープに溶浸し、皮膜を完全に緻密化するのに十分であることが分かった。
実施例1からのテープを2215°Fで20分間焼結して、プレフォームを形成した。得られた焼結プレフォームをHast−X基体にスポット溶接し、2215°Fで20分間ろう付けした。金属組織分析により、ろうが皮膜を完全に緻密化するのに十分であることが分かった。

Claims (22)
- 基体を用意する工程、
ろう合金及び耐摩耗性粒子を含有するプレフォームを基体に取り付ける工程、及び
プレフォームを基体に結合して耐摩耗性皮膜を形成する工程
を含む基体のコーティング方法。 - 結合工程がプレフォームを基体に冶金結合することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 冶金結合がろう付け、溶接及び半田付けの1つ以上を含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- ろう付け工程がプレフォームを加熱してプレフォームのろう合金を溶融することを含む、請求項3記載の方法。
- 結合工程が接着剤を基体及びプレフォームの少なくとも一方に塗工することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- プレフォームがバインダーを含有しない、請求項1記載の方法。
- 耐摩耗性粒子がセラミック材料を含有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- セラミック材料が炭化物及び酸化物の1種以上を含有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 炭化物が炭化クロム及び炭化タングステンの1種以上を含有する、請求項8記載の方法。
- 酸化物が酸化アルミニウム及び酸化イットリウムの1種以上を含有する、請求項8記載の方法。
- 耐摩耗性粒子がダイヤモンドを含有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 基体がタービンアセンブリの部品である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記部品がノズル(10)、シュラウド(14)、シュラウドハンガー(16)、圧力バランスシール、低圧タービンブレード(22)、高圧タービンブレード(22)及び燃焼器部品の1つ以上である、請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記タービンブレード(22)がチップシュラウド(20)を含む、請求項13記載の方法。
- 取り付け工程が前記プレフォームを前記チップシュラウド(20)に取り付けることをさらに含む、請求項14記載の方法。
- 取り付け工程が前記プレフォームを前記チップシュラウド(20)のかみ合いノッチ(23)に取り付けることをさらに含む、請求項15記載の方法。
- 耐摩耗性粒子が合金を含有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 合金がコバルト基合金を含有する、請求項17記載の方法。
- タービンアセンブリの1つ以上の部品である基体を用意する工程、
ろう合金及び耐摩耗性粒子を含有するプレフォームを基体に取り付ける工程であって、ろう合金がニッケル基合金及びコバルト基合金の1種以上を含有し、耐摩耗性粒子がセラミック材料及びダイヤモンドからなる群から選択される材料を含有する工程、及び
プレフォームを基体に融合する工程
を含むタービンアセンブリ部品のコーティング方法。 - ノズル(10)、シュラウド(14)、シュラウドハンガー(16)、圧力バランスシール、タービンブレード(22)及び燃焼器部品からなる群から選択される基体を用意する工程、
ろう合金及び耐摩耗性粒子を基体に適用する工程であって、ろう合金がニッケル又はコバルトが合金の単一主成分(重量で)元素であるニッケル基合金又はコバルト基合金を含有し、耐摩耗性粒子が(i)Cr23C6、Cr7C3、Cr3C2及びこれらの組合せ及び(ii)滑らかな酸化物フィルムを形成するコバルト合金からなる群から選択される材料を含有する工程、及び
ろう合金を加熱して耐摩耗性粒子を基体に結合して基体上に耐摩耗性皮膜を形成する工程
を含むタービンエンジン部品のコーティング方法。 - ノズル(10)、シュラウド(14)、シュラウドハンガー(16)、圧力バランスシール、タービンブレード(22)及び燃焼器部品からなる群から選択される基体を用意する工程、
プレフォームを基体に取り付ける工程であって、プレフォームがろう合金及び耐摩耗性粒子を含有し、ろう合金がニッケル又はコバルトが合金の単一主成分(重量で)元素であるニッケル基合金又はコバルト基合金を含有し、耐摩耗性粒子が(i)Cr23C6、Cr7C3、Cr3C2及びこれらの組合せ及び(ii)滑らかな酸化物フィルムを形成するコバルト合金からなる群から選択される材料を含有する工程、及び
プレフォームを基体に融合する工程
を含むタービンエンジン部品のコーティング方法。 - 2つの対応する逆向きのZ形かみ合いノッチ(23)を有するチップシュラウド(20)を含む低圧タービンブレード(22)を用意する工程、
プレフォームを前記チップシュラウド(20)のかみ合いノッチ(23)に取り付ける工程であって、プレフォームがろう合金及び耐摩耗性粒子を含有し、ろう合金がニッケル基合金及びコバルト基合金の1種以上を含有し、耐摩耗性粒子が(1)約28.5重量%のモリブデン、約17.5重量%のクロム、約3.4重量%のケイ素、残部のコバルト、(2)約22.0重量%のニッケル、約22重量%のクロム、約14.5重量%のタングステン、約0.35重量%のケイ素、約2.3重量%のホウ素、残部のコバルト、(3)約10重量%のニッケル、約20重量%のクロム、約15重量%のタングステン、残部のコバルト、(4)約22重量%のニッケル、約22重量%のクロム、約15.5重量%のタングステン、残部のコバルト、及び(5)約5重量%のニッケル、約28重量%のクロム、約19.5重量%のタングステン、残部のコバルトからなる群から選択される材料を含有する工程、及び
プレフォームをブレード(22)に融合する工程
を含むタービンアセンブリ部品のコーティング方法。
