Description
一方、自動車のトランスミッション装置やディファレンシャル装置などに使用される円錐ころ軸受においては、保持器は極圧添加剤等の添加剤を含むギヤ油等の潤滑油に接触して使用されることから耐油性を備えた樹脂を使用する必要が生じる。従って、保持器を構成する樹脂には、高い耐熱性や耐油性が要求されるが、このような物性を有する樹脂は強化材が配合された高剛性となるものが多い。高剛性の樹脂を使用した場合、円錐ころによる上記の弾性変形により柱部に過大な応力がかかり、柱部の一部が損傷を受けたり割れたりすることがある。
本発明はこのような従来技術の問題点に鑑み、円錐ころの無理嵌め時における柱部の損傷や割れが防止され、それと共に強度、耐熱性、耐油性等の要求物性を満たし、かつ容易に製作することができるころ軸受用保持器、及びこのころ軸受用保持器が用いられた円錐ころ軸受を提供することを目的とする。
すなわち、本発明は、軸方向両側に同軸に配置される大径環状部及び小径環状部と、円周方向の複数箇所で両環状部間に架け渡される複数の柱部と、各柱部の間に構成されて円錐ころが装着されるポケットとを備え、前記円錐ころが小径環状部側の前記柱部を弾性変形させつつ前記ポケットに無理嵌めされる全体が円錐筒状の樹脂製ころ軸受用保持器であって、前記柱部の前記小径環状部側の端部の少なくとも外周側に、前記円錐ころを前記ポケットに無理嵌めする際に、当該円錐ころの小径側のエッジを逃がして当該柱部に生じる応力を緩和する応力緩和部が設けられており、この応力緩和部は、全ての前記柱部の周方向両側において、前記柱部と前記小径環状部との交差部から前記大径環状部側に向かうに従って先細りとなるようにテーパー状の1つの三角形状の面で直線的に切欠かれており、
前記柱部の少なくとも小径環状部側が周方向断面台形状に形成されており、前記応力緩和部が設けられている部分の周方向における最小幅は、前記柱部の内周面の周方向幅以上となっていることを特徴とする。
また、本発明の前記応力緩和部は、前記柱部と前記小径環状部との交差部における径方向内端及び外端の各1点と、前記交差部よりも前記大径環状部側における前記柱部の外周面の周方向端縁上の1点とを頂点とする1つの三角形状の面で直線的に切欠かれていることが好ましい。
また、前記柱部は、前記小径環状部との交差部における周方向断面の、内周面の周方向幅と外周面の周方向幅とが同一とされていることが好ましい。
上記本発明の円錐ころ軸受によれば、損傷や割れが防止され、それと共に強度、耐熱性、耐油性等の要求物性を満たし、かつ容易に製作することができる保持器が用いられているので、簡易に製作できかつ高い耐久性を有する。
また、柱部、大径環状部、小径環状部の形状や寸法は、ころ軸受の構成により適宜変更される。

Claims (4)
- 軸方向両側に同軸に配置される大径環状部及び小径環状部と、円周方向の複数箇所で両環状部間に架け渡される複数の柱部と、各柱部の間に構成されて円錐ころが装着されるポケットとを備え、
前記円錐ころが小径環状部側の前記柱部を弾性変形させつつ前記ポケットに無理嵌めされる全体が円錐筒状の樹脂製ころ軸受用保持器であって、
前記柱部の前記小径環状部側の端部の少なくとも外周側に、前記円錐ころを前記ポケットに無理嵌めする際に、当該円錐ころの小径側のエッジを逃がして当該柱部に生じる応力を緩和する応力緩和部が設けられ、
この応力緩和部は、全ての前記柱部の周方向両側において、前記柱部と前記小径環状部との交差部から前記大径環状部側に向かうに従って先細りとなるようにテーパー状の1つの三角形状の面で直線的に切欠かれており、
前記柱部の少なくとも小径環状部側が周方向断面台形状に形成されており、前記応力緩和部が設けられている部分の周方向における最小幅は、前記柱部の内周面の周方向幅以上となっていることを特徴とするころ軸受用保持器。 - 前記応力緩和部は、前記柱部と前記小径環状部との交差部における径方向内端及び外端の各1点と、前記交差部よりも前記大径環状部側における前記柱部の外周面の周方向端縁上の1点とを頂点とする1つの三角形状の面で直線的に切欠かれている請求項1に記載のころ軸受用保持器。
- 前記柱部は、前記小径環状部との交差部における周方向断面の、内周面の周方向幅と外周面の周方向幅とが同一とされている請求項2に記載のころ軸受用保持器。
- 内輪部材と、外輪部材と、内輪部材と外輪部材との間に介装された複数の円錐ころと、これら複数の円錐ころを転動自在に保持するころ軸受用保持器とを備えた円錐ころ軸受において、
前記ころ軸受用保持器が、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のころ軸受用保持器であることを特徴とする円錐ころ軸受。
