Description
Claims (4)
- 異なる複数の色に対応して設けられた複数のラスタ出力スキャナであって、走査非線形性プロファイルをそれぞれが記憶し、画像情報を含むレーザ光をそれぞれが出力する複数のラスタ出力スキャナに、画像情報に対する画素クロック信号を出力する画素回路を備え、
前記画素回路は、
前記複数のラスタ出力スキャナのうちの1つから走査非線形性プロファイルを取得し、画素クロック信号の周波数設定テーブルを、当該走査非線形性プロファイルに基づき生成するテーブル生成手段と、
前記周波数設定テーブルに基づく周波数を有する画素クロック信号を生成し、当該画素クロック信号を、当該走査非線形性プロファイルの取得元のラスタ出力スキャナに出力するクロック信号生成手段と、
を備え、
前記テーブル生成手段は、
前記クロック信号生成手段から出力される画素クロック信号の周波数が、走査非線形性を補償する周波数へと較正されるよう、前記周波数設定テーブルを生成する自動較正手段、
を備えることを特徴とするレーザ走査非線形性補正装置。 - 請求項1に記載のレーザ走査非線形性補正装置において、
前記複数のラスタ出力スキャナのそれぞれについて、レーザ光走査線における画素の位置を検出する画素位置検出部と、
前記画素位置検出部によって検出された画素位置に基づいて、各ラスタ出力スキャナについて走査非線形性プロファイルを求め、各ラスタ出力スキャナに走査非線形性プロファイルを記憶させる走査非線形性プロファイル設定部と、
を備えることを特徴とするレーザ走査非線形性補正装置。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載のレーザ走査非線形性補正装置において、
前記クロック信号生成手段は、
前記走査非線形性プロファイルの取得元のラスタ出力スキャナから、走査の開始タイミングを示す走査開始信号、および走査の終了タイミングを示す走査終了信号を取得する手段と、
与えられる制御値に応じて発振周波数が変化する可変周波数発振器と、
前記可変周波数発振器から出力される信号に基づいて、前記走査開始信号によって示されるタイミングで、画素クロック信号を出力する同期手段と、
1走査分のカウントを終了したタイミングを示すカウント終了信号を、前記同期手段から出力された画素クロック信号のカウント処理に基づいて生成する、カウント終了信号生成手段と、
前記カウント終了信号と、前記走査終了信号とのタイミング差に応じた差異値を出力するタイミング比較手段と、
前記同期手段から出力された画素クロック信号のカウント値に応じて、前記周波数設定テーブルからテーブル値を選択するテーブル値選択手段と、
前記タイミング比較手段から出力された差異値と、前記テーブル値選択手段によって選択されたテーブル値と、に基づいて前記可変周波数発振器に対する制御値を求め、求められた制御値を前記可変周波数発振器に与える制御値生成手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするレーザ走査非線形性補正装置。 - 請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のレーザ走査非線形性補正装置と、
前記複数のラスタ出力スキャナと、
を備えることを特徴とするカラープリンタ。
