Description
粉状のニグロシン染料の造粒物である造粒着色剤であって、前記造粒物の嵩密度が0.4乃至0.7g/mlであり、前記造粒物の硬度が1乃至20Nであることを特徴とする。
前記硬度(木屋式硬度計による硬度)は、好ましくは2乃至15N、更に好ましく3乃至12Nである。造粒着色剤をこのような硬度とすることにより、運搬等の取扱い性の良好さと樹脂に対するニグロシン染料の分散性とを好ましく両立し得る。
また、このようなペレットであって、造粒物の嵩密度が0.4乃至0.7g/mlであり、前記造粒物の硬度が1乃至20Nである造粒着色剤により、良好に課題が達成される。
本発明の造粒着色剤(粉状のニグロシン染料の造粒物)の原料であるニグロシン染料としては、COLOR INDEXにC.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5、C.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5:1、C.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5:2及びC.I.SOLVENT BLACK 7として記載されている黒色アジン系縮合混合物を好適に用いることができる(なお、本明細書中のCOLOR INDEXの一般名、すなわちC.I. Generic Nameは、COLOR INDEX第3版による。)。そのニグロシン染料の合成は、例えば、アニリン、アニリン塩酸塩及びニトロベンゼンを、塩化鉄の存在下、反応温度160乃至180℃で酸化及び脱水縮合することにより行い得る。ニグロシンは、反応条件、仕込み原料及び仕込み比等の如何によって、種々の異なる化合物の混合物として生成するが、例えば下記式(I)又は(II)で表されるような各種のトリフェナジンオキサジン及び式(III)乃至(VI)で表されるようなフェナジンアジン系化合物の混合物と推定されている。
(2)アニリンおよび/またはニトロベンゼンが溶解し得る溶液によりニグロシン染料を洗浄して除去する方法。このような溶液の例としては、有機溶剤(例えば、アルコール類、グリコール類)、水溶液、有機溶剤と水の混合溶液、或いは、これらの溶剤又は溶液の酸性溶液等を挙げることができる。
(3)単に加熱・減圧して除去する方法。
(4)加熱・留去する方法。
(5)水蒸気蒸留などの蒸留方法。
(6)酸素、オゾン、さらし粉又はその他の各種酸化剤を用いた酸化方法。
本発明の造粒着色剤は、粉状のニグロシン染料の造粒物であり、その造粒物は、嵩密度が0.4乃至0.7g/ml、硬度が1乃至20N、好ましくは2乃至15N、更に好ましくは3乃至12Nである。

この混合物に対し、ディスク・ダイの孔径3mmを選択して押出造粒機(ディスクペレッター F−5型:ダルトン社製の商品)を用い、ローラーの回転数(120rpm)に調節し、ローラー加圧力を一定圧力(100kg/cm2)にしながら押出造粒処理を行うことにより、円柱状のペレット(造粒物)と一部非造粒物を含むウエット状着色剤を得た。このペレットを取り出し、ペレットの硬度を硬度計(木屋式硬度計:WPF1600)で測定したところ4.9Nであった。また造粒物の嵩密度は0.64g/mlであった。

(a)粉体流動性分析装置による流動性試験
測定機種:粉体流動性分析装置 FT−4(シスメックス社製)
測定条件:流速試験
流速試験:ブレード速度(ブレードスピード)を4段階に変化(100mm/sec、70mm/sec、40mm/sec、10mm/sec)させて設定し、ブレード速度に対する流動性評価を行った。結果を表1及び図1に示す。表1及び図1に示される数値の変化率が少ないものほど流動性が良好なものと評価される。
(b)簡易流動性試験機による流動性試験

Claims (13)
- 粉状のニグロシン染料の造粒物である造粒着色剤であって、前記ニグロシン染料はC.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5、C.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5:1、C.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5:2又はC.I.SOLVENT BLACK 7であり、前記造粒物の嵩密度が0.4乃至0.7g/mlであり、前記造粒物の硬度が1乃至20Nであることを特徴とする造粒着色剤。
- 上記粉状のニグロシン染料の平均粒径が5乃至20μmである請求項1記載の造粒着色剤。
- 上記粉状のニグロシン染料の比表面積が1.5乃至5.5m2/gである請求項1又は2記載の造粒着色剤。
- 上記ニグロシン染料のFe含有量が1重量%以下である請求項1、2又は3記載の造粒着色剤。
- 上記造粒物が直径2乃至4mmの円柱状ペレットである請求項1乃至4の何れかに記載の造粒着色剤。
- ニグロシン染料100重量部と水20乃至55重量部が混合されて造粒されたものの乾燥物である請求項1乃至5の何れかに記載の造粒着色剤。
- 粉状のニグロシン染料と水を混合する混合工程と、前記混合工程で得られた混合物を用いて押出式造粒機により円柱状造粒物を得る造粒工程と、前記造粒工程で得られた造粒物を乾燥させる乾燥工程を包含し、前記ニグロシン染料はC.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5、C.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5:1、C.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5:2又はC.I.SOLVENT BLACK 7であり、前記乾燥工程による乾燥後の造粒物の嵩密度が0.4乃至0.7g/mlであり硬度が1乃至20Nである造粒着色剤の製造方法。
- 上記混合工程が、ニグロシン染料100重量部と水20乃至55重量部を、回転式混合機により混合する工程である請求項7記載の造粒着色剤の製造方法。
- 上記造粒工程が、上記混合工程で得られた混合物を、押出式造粒機の圧力および/または回転数を調整して造粒することにより、乾燥後の硬度が1乃至20Nとなる円柱状造粒物を得る工程である請求項7記載の造粒着色剤の製造方法。
- 少なくとも請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載の造粒着色剤と熱可塑性樹脂が混合されて得られるマスターバッチであって、前記熱可塑性樹脂100重量部に対し前記造粒着色剤におけるニグロシン染料を25乃至100重量部含有する高濃度マスターバッチ。
- 粉状のニグロシン染料と水を混合する混合工程と、前記混合工程で得られた混合物を用いて押出式造粒機により円柱状造粒物を得る造粒工程と、前記造粒工程で得られた造粒物を乾燥させる乾燥工程と、少なくとも、前記乾燥工程を経て得られた造粒着色剤と熱可塑性樹脂とを混合して押出機により前記熱可塑性樹脂100重量部に対し前記造粒着色剤におけるニグロシン染料を25乃至100重量部含有するマスターバッチを成形する混合成形工程を包含し、前記ニグロシン染料はC.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5、C.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5:1、C.I.SOLVENT BLACK 5:2又はC.I.SOLVENT BLACK 7であり、前記乾燥工程による乾燥後の造粒物の嵩密度が0.4乃至0.7g/mlであり硬度が1乃至20Nである高濃度マスターバッチの製造方法。
- 少なくとも請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載の造粒着色剤又は請求項10に記載の高濃度マスターバッチと熱可塑性樹脂又は熱可塑性エラストマーが混合されて得られる着色組成物であって、前記熱可塑性樹脂又は熱可塑性エラストマー100重量部に対し前記造粒着色剤又は高濃度マスターバッチにおけるニグロシン染料を0.01乃至10重量部含有する着色組成物。
- 上記熱可塑性樹脂が、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリエチレンテレフタレート樹脂、ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂及びポリフェニレンスルフィド樹脂からなる群から選ばれた1又は2以上の合成樹脂である請求項12記載の着色組成物。
