Description
本発明は、電子制御式電気機械バルブに関し、またそのようなバルブを含む燃料システム蒸気管理ユニットに関する。
・少なくとも3つのボアを含む固定外側ハウジングと、
・軸線の周りで回転し、ハウジングのボアと共に該バルブの少なくとも3つのポートを形成する適当なボアを含む回転内側セクションと、
・電子制御装置によって制御され、内側セクションをその軸線の周りで回転させることによって該バルブを1つの位置から別の位置に切り換えることができる電気作動システムと、を備えている。
・「より低いコスト」−2つの別個のバルブ及びそれに関連した配管システムと置き換わるこのバルブは、その中で使用するシステムの全部品数を減少させ、従ってコストを低下させることと、
・「より静粛な製品」−線形ソレノイドアクチュエータ(このアクチュエータは、エンジン制御ユニット(ECU)によって流れ制限を変えるためにバルブの開閉をサイクル作動させ、このことがしばしば望ましくないノイズを生じる)を備えたバルブの場合のようなパルス幅変調を使用して流体流を制御する必要がないバルブにより、ノイズがより少なくなること−と、
・「デジタル制御性」−大抵の場合、デジタル制御式構成要素は、マイクロプロセッサに統合することが一層容易であることとが、がある。
Claims (8)
- 流体が流れることができる少なくとも3つのポートと、少なくとも2つの前記ポートが流体連通状態になる少なくとも3つの異なる安定位置とを有する電子制御式電気機械バルブであって、1つの前記位置が、燃料タンクと蒸気回収システムとの間を全開状態にすることを保証し、別の2つの前記位置が、前記蒸気回収システムと前記エンジンとの間をそれぞれ全開状態及び部分開状態にすることを保証する電子制御式電気機械バルブを備える内燃エンジンのための燃料システム蒸気管理ユニットにおいて、
前記バルブは、
−少なくとも3つのボアを含む固定外側ハウジングと、
−軸線の周りに回転し、前記ハウジングのボアと共に前記バルブの少なくとも3つのポートを形成する適当なボアを備える回転内側セクションと、
−電子制御装置によって制御され、前記内側セクションをその軸線の周りに回転させることによって前記バルブを1つの位置から別の位置に切り換えることができる電気作動システムと、
を備えていることを特徴とする燃料システム蒸気管理ユニット。 - 前記3つのポートのいずれもが流体連通状態にならず、また電力喪失の場合に前記システムが密閉されることを保証することができる適当なデフォルト機構によって保持される付加的閉鎖位置を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料システム蒸気管理ユニット。
- 前記電気作動システムが、前記外側固定ハウジングに固定された少なくとも3つのコイルと前記内側回転セクションに固定された少なくとも1つの磁石とを備え、前記コイルが発電機に結合され、前記発電機が、前記電子制御装置からの信号に応答して前記コイルを励磁して、つまり電流を発生しかつ前記コイルを通して該電流を流して、前記バルブの各位置が、励磁されかつ前記磁石を引き付ける所定のコイルと関係付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の燃料システム蒸気管理ユニット。
- 前記電気作動システムが、少なくとも2つの磁石を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料システム蒸気管理ユニット。
- 前記電気作動システムが、前記バルブの上に配置されたモータを含み、該モータが、前記電子制御装置からの信号に応答して前記バルブの内側セクションを回転させかつ前記内側セクションを所定の位置に位置付けることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の燃料システム蒸気管理ユニット。
- 前記バルブが、燃料充填パイプに延びる蒸気再循環管路に接続された少なくとも付加的ポートを備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の燃料システム蒸気管理ユニット。
- 前記バルブが、それぞれ燃料タンク、キャニスタ、エンジン、前記蒸気再循環管路への大径通路、及び前記(又は別の)蒸気再循環管路への小径通路に接続するための少なくとも5つのポートを備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の燃料システム蒸気管理ユニット。
- 燃料タンクに接続された第2のポートを備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の燃料システム蒸気管理ユニット。
