Claims (10)
- 鋼管の外面の少なくとも一部を全周に亘って複数枚の被覆材で被覆した被覆鋼管であって,
前記複数枚の被覆材の管軸方向の両端部を覆うように,帯状部材が前記鋼管の周方向に巻付けられて環状に固定され,
前記鋼管の外面と前記複数枚の被覆材の内面との間に形成される各空間が,前記鋼管の外面と前記帯状部材の内面との間に形成される空間を介して,一度に気体を加圧充填できるように互いに連通し,且つ閉空間を構成することを特徴とする,被覆鋼管。 - 前記鋼管の外面と前記複数枚の被覆材の内面との間に形成される空間の全てが互いに連通し,単一の閉空間を構成することを特徴とする,請求項1に記載の被覆鋼管。
- 前記鋼管の外面と前記複数枚の被覆材の内面との間に形成される空間が任意の組合わせで互いに連通し,複数の閉空間を構成することを特徴とする,請求項1に記載の被覆鋼管。
- 前記帯状部材には,前記閉空間に連通するポートが設けられていることを特徴とする,請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の被覆鋼管。
- 前記鋼管の内面には、前記閉空間に連通するポートが設けられていることを特徴とする,請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の被覆鋼管。
- 前記複数枚の被覆材が薄板状金属で構成され,各被覆材が互いに3枚以上重なり合わないように構成されていることを特徴とする,請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の被覆鋼管。
- 前記複数枚の被覆材は,周方向の端部が互いに重なり合わさって,鋼管の管軸方向に略平行な重ね継手部分を形成していることを特徴とする,請求項6に記載の被覆鋼管。
- 所定の間隔をあけて略平行に対向配置した一対の回転可能な円板電極を備えたインダイレクトシーム溶接装置を用いて,請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の被覆鋼管を製造する方法であって,
前記一対の円板電極の一方を,前記複数の被覆材と前記鋼管とを接合させる部分に配置し,前記一対の円板電極の両方を,前記複数の被覆材の外面に加圧接触させた状態で回転させて前記接合させる部分に沿って並走させながら,前記一対の円板電極の一方から他方に溶接電流を流し,前記接合させる部分に抵抗発熱を生じさせることで,インダイレクトシーム溶接による接合を行うことを特徴とする,被覆鋼管の製造方法。 - 前記一対の円板電極を,進行方向にずらした位置関係を保持したまま並走させてインダイレクトシーム溶接を行うことを特徴とする,請求項8に記載の被覆鋼管の製造方法。
- 前記一対の円板電極を前記鋼管の管軸方向に並走させる際には,前記一対の円板電極の各円板面が前記鋼管の管軸方向に平行であり且つ前記被覆材の外面に垂直である状態で,前記鋼管の管軸に向けて押圧しながら並走させることを特徴とする,請求項8又は9に記載の被覆鋼管の製造方法。
