Description
図1には、この発明の参考例に係る紙葉類搬送機構10(以下、単に、搬送機構10と称する)の概略構造を図示した平面図を示してある。また、図2には、搬送機構10を郵便物Mの搬送方向から見た側面図を示してある。ここでは、紙葉類として郵便物Mを搬送する搬送機構10について説明するが、取り扱う媒体はこれに限るものではない。
搬送機構35により搬入搬送路32を介して郵便物Mが矢印A方向に送り込まれると、センサ41によって郵便物Mの通過が検知されて搬送方向に沿った長さが検出され、駆動ローラ2と従動ローラ4との間のニップN3に当該郵便物Mの搬送方向先端が突入する。このとき、駆動ローラ2は時計回り方向に回転しており、従動ローラ4は駆動ローラ2と同じ方向に従動回転している。郵便物MがニップN3を通過する際には、従動ローラ4のローラ部4b、4cが弾性変形して郵便物Mに追従する。
Claims (1)
- 搬送路上に取り出された紙葉類の同一面に転接して同じ周速で同じ方向に回転する複数の駆動ローラと、
上記搬送路を介して上記複数の駆動ローラそれぞれに従動回転可能なように転接して配置され、対向する駆動ローラに接触する外側の第1層を中実弾性体により形成し、該第1層よりも内側の第2層を発泡弾性体により形成した2層構造を有するととともに、弾性変形することにより対向する駆動ローラとの間のニップへの紙葉類の受け入れを許容し、互いに独立して回転する複数の従動ローラと、
上記複数の駆動ローラを軸方向に互いに離間せしめて同軸に取り付けた回転軸、および上記複数の従動ローラを軸方向に互いに離間せしめて同軸に取り付けた回転軸を互いに固定的な位置関係で取り付けたフレームと、を備え、
上記ニップを通る上記駆動ローラと上記従動ローラに共通な接線を含む平面より上記従動ローラが配置された側から上記ニップに向けて斜めに送り込まれた紙葉類を当該複数のニップで挟持搬送して停止し、上記複数の駆動ローラを逆回転させて当該紙葉類を逆方向に送り出す紙葉類方向変換機構。
