Description
特に、流量制御弁の内周とスプールとの磨耗が進行しこれらの間の摺動抵抗が増大することで目標値に対して検出値がずれる際には、そのずれ量が漸増する傾向にある。ここで、上記ずれに基づく異常の有無の判断を所定以上のずれが所定時間以上継続するときとする場合、所定時間をある程度長く設定しないと判断精度を高く維持することが困難である。しかし、所定時間を長くすると、その間に実際の燃圧が目標値から大きく離間してしまうおそれがある。この点、上記構成では、ずれが漸増するときに異常ありと判断することで、上記摺動抵抗の増大を迅速に判断することができる。
以下、本発明にかかる燃圧制御装置をコモンレール式ディーゼル機関の燃圧制御装置に適用した第1の実施形態について、図面を参照しつつ説明する。

なお、上記各実施形態は、以下のように変更して実施してもよい。
Claims (6)
- ソレノイドによって生じる磁力及びスプリングの弾性力により該ソレノイドの軸方向にスプールを変位させることで燃料流量を調節する流量制御弁を備える燃料ポンプと、該燃料ポンプの吐出する燃料が圧送される蓄圧室と、該蓄圧室内の燃圧を検出する検出手段とを備える燃料噴射装置に適用され、前記ソレノイドに対する通電操作により、前記蓄圧室内の燃圧の検出値を目標値にフィードバック制御する燃圧制御装置において、
前記目標値と前記検出値とのずれ量が漸増するときに、前記流量制御弁に異常ありと判断する判断手段と、
該判断手段により異常ありと判断されるとき、前記ソレノイドに対する通電量を強制的に減少させる減少手段とを備えることを特徴とする燃圧制御装置。 - 前記減少手段は、前記通電量を、ゼロよりも大きい所定量まで減少させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の燃圧制御装置。
- 前記減少手段による強制的な通電量の減少時間が、前記燃料ポンプの吐出周期以下の長さに設定されてなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の燃圧制御装置。
- 前記流量制御弁は、ノーマリークローズ式のものであり、
前記減少手段は、前記検出値が前記目標値を上回る側にずれたときに前記通電量の強制的な減少を行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の燃圧制御装置。 - 前記流量制御弁は、ノーマリーオープン式のものであり、
前記減少手段は、前記検出値が前記目標値を下回る側にずれたときに前記通電量の強制的な減少を行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の燃圧制御装置。 - 前記通電操作は、デューティ制御によってなされることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の燃圧制御装置。
