Claims (7)
- 合成材料からなるベース体(12)と環状ディスクエレメント(25)とを備えている二次シールエレメントであって、
該ベース体(12)が、ベース部分(13)及びシール部分(14)を有しており、
該ベース部分及びシール部分が、部材を貫通させるための同軸的に整合しかつ軸線方向に隣接する貫通孔(17、31)を有しており、
前記環状ディスクエレメント(25)が、前記ベース部分に収容されていて、該ベース部分の貫通孔及び前記シール部分の貫通孔と同軸的に整合されている貫通孔(30)を有していて、
前記ベース体とは異なる材料から形成されている形式のものにおいて、
無負荷状態で前記環状ディスクエレメント(25)の貫通孔(30)が、前記ベース体(12)のシール部分(14)の貫通孔(31)のD2より大きく、かつ前記ベース体(12)のベース部分(13)のD1よりも小さい半径方向寸法dを有しており、前記環状ディスクエレメントの材料が炭素材料から形成されており、
負荷状態で、少なくとも環状ディスクエレメント(25)の半径方向外側周面部分において、加圧された媒体が半径方向内側への力が働くように、前記環状ディスクエレメント(25)が、ベース部分(13)の端面(15)に設けられた切欠き(24)に配置されていて、該端面を越えて軸線方向に突出している
ことを特徴とする二次シールエレメント。 - 前記ベース体(12)の合成材料が、PTFEを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の二次シールエレメント。
- 前記シール部分(14)が、半径方向に隔置されかつ反対方向に外側を向いたシール面(22、23)を備えた弾性のウェブエレメント(19、20)の対を有していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の二次シールエレメント。
- 前記ウェブエレメント(19、20)を半径方向に弾性的に拡張するための手段(32)を特徴とする請求項3記載の二次シールエレメント。
- 前記ベース部分(13)が、実質的に長方形の横断面を有していることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の二次シールエレメント。
- 協働する一対のシールリング(3、4)を有するメカニカルフェースシール装置であって、該シールリング(3、4)のうち、一方が軸方向の付勢力によって他方に向けて負荷されていて、かつスリーブ(18)に軸線方向に可動に配置されている形式のものにおいて、前記スリーブ(18)に対して一方のシールリング(3)をシールするために、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の二次シールエレメント(10)が、前記付勢力を伝達するために軸線方向に可動にスリーブに嵌められているスラストリング(5)に設けられており、前記スリーブが、環状ディスクエレメント(25)の炭素材料の熱膨張係数に本質的に対応する熱膨張係数を有する材料から形成されていることを特徴とするメカニカルフェースシール装置。
- 前記スリーブ(18)が、タングステンカーバイドから形成されていることを特徴とする請求項6記載のメカニカルフェースシール装置。
