Claims (4)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が形成された外方部材と、
一端部に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周に軸方向に延びる円筒状の小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の小径段部に圧入された少なくとも一つの内輪とからなり、前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
前記両転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体とを備え、
軸部を一体に有する等速自在継手の外側継手部材が、前記内方部材にトルク伝達可能に内嵌されると共に、前記軸部に締結される固定ナットによって、前記内方部材に突き合わせ状態で軸方向に分離可能に結合される駆動車輪用軸受装置において、
前記外側継手部材に当接する前記内方部材の端面に潤滑剤が塗布されると共に、組立工程や搬送中において塗布された潤滑剤が汚染されないように、当該内方部材の端部にカバーが着脱自在に装着され、このカバーが、前記小径段部の内径に挿入される嵌挿部と、前記内方部材の端部を覆うドーナツ状の底部とを備えていることを特徴とする駆動車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記カバーの嵌挿部の円周等配位置に嵌合リブが径方向外方に突出して形成され、この嵌合リブが前記小径段部に圧入されている請求項1に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記内方部材の端面にグリース溝が形成されている請求項1または2に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記小径段部の端部を径方向外方に塑性変形させて形成した加締部により、前記内輪が軸方向に固定されると共に、前記加締部の端面に潤滑剤が塗布されている請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
