Claims (8)
- 2本の軸(12,14)を備えた二軸式真空ポンプであって、一方の軸(14)が電気的な駆動モータ(20)によって駆動されており且つモータロータ(26)を有しており、前記駆動モータ(20)が同期モータである形式のものにおいて、
モータロータ(26)が永久磁石により永続的に励起される同期機のロータとして構成されており、モータ最大出力(PMmax)が得られるモータ定格回転数(nN)と、最大回転数(nMax)との間の回転数範囲であるリミッタ範囲内で、モータ出力(PM)を規定されたモータ最大出力(PMmax)に制限する同期モータ出力リミッタ(58)が設けられており、
該同期モータ出力リミッタ(58)は、前記リミッタ範囲内で回転数の増大に対応してトルクを低下させるようステータ電流を減少させることを特徴とする、二軸式真空ポンプ。 - 前記出力リミッタ(58)が前記リミッタ範囲内で、ロータ磁界と電気的なステータ磁界との間の位相角度を90度とは異なる角度に調整する、請求項1記載の二軸式真空ポンプ。
- 駆動されるロータ軸(14)のモータ側の端部が、片持ち式で且つ支持軸受け無しで支承されている、請求項1又は2記載の二軸式真空ポンプ。
- モータロータ(26)が、モータロータボディ(34)の外側に配置された複数の永久磁石(38)を有している、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の二軸式真空ポンプ。
- モータロータ(26)が非磁性材料から成るロータカプセル(40)を有しており、該ロータカプセルが、モータロータボディ(34)及び永久磁石(38)の外側を取り囲んでいる、請求項4記載の二軸式真空ポンプ。
- ステータ側に、モータロータ(26)をモータステータ(28)に対して気密に閉鎖する、非磁性材料から成るギャップポット(42)が設けられている、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の二軸式真空ポンプ。
- ギャップポット(42)を保持するポンプカバー(48)と、モータステータ(28)を取り囲むステータケーシング(50)とが互いに一体に形成されている、請求項6記載の二軸式真空ポンプ。
- ロータ用永久磁石(38)が希土類元素から成っている、請求項5から7までのいずれか1項記載の二軸式真空ポンプ。
