Claims (8)
- 情報ブロックの記録を企図した情報トラックの位置を示すサーボ・トラックを備えている記録キャリアであって、前記サーボ・トラックは、物理的パラメータの実質的に正弦波の変形を備え、前記変形は、所定の周波数において単調であり、前記サーボ・トラックは、
前記所定の周波数において前記変形のみを有する変調されていない部分と、
前記変形の周波数及び/又は位相が、前記変調されていない部分の前記所定の周波数及び/又は位相から偏移する変調された部分と
により、記録キャリア情報を符号化するために変調され、
前記変形の勾配が、前記変調された部分と前記変調されていない部分との間の偏移において実質的に連続しており、前記偏移は、前記正弦波の変形の最小値及び/又は最大値に位置することを特徴とする記録キャリア。 - 請求項1記載の記録キャリアであって、前記変調された部分の第1部分が前記変形を偏移周波数において備え、前記第1部分の長さが前記所定の周波数の一周期に対応し、前記偏移周波数の1.5周期に対応することを特徴とする記録キャリア。
- 請求項2記載の記録キャリアであって、前記変調された部分の第2部分が、前記変調されていない部分の周期的な変形の位相とは逆の位相の前記所定の周波数の少なくとも一周期を備え、前記変調された部分の第3部分が、前記偏移周波数において前記変形を備え、前記第3部分の長さが前記所定の周波数の一周期に対応し、前記偏移周波数の1.5周期に対応し、前記第2部分は、前記第1部分と前記第3部分との間にあり、前記第1部分、前記第2部分及び前記第3部分は連続して位置することを特徴とする記録キャリア。
- 請求項1記載の記録キャリア上の情報トラック内の情報ブロックを記憶し、かつ/又は読み取る手段を備えている記録及び/又はプレイバックの機器であって、前記機器は、サーボ・トラックを走査する手段と、前記所定の周波数において、前記単調である変形によって生成された信号から、前記変調された記録キャリア情報を回復する復調手段とを備え、
前記復調手段は、前記変形の勾配が実質的に連続している、前記変調された部分と前記変調されていない部分との間の偏移において開始している前記変調された部分を検波する検波手段を備え、前記偏移は、前記正弦波の変形の最小値及び/又は最大値に位置し、前記検波手段は、前記最小値及び/又は前記最大値の開始を検出するよう構成されることを特徴とする機器。 - 請求項4記載の機器であって、前記検波手段は、偏移周波数において前記変形を備える第1部分を有する変調された部分を検波するよう構成され、前記第1部分の長さが前記所定の周波数の一周期に対応し、前記偏移周波数の1.5周期に対応することを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項5記載の機器であって、前記検波手段は、前記変調されていない部分の周期的な変形の位相とは逆の位相の前記所定の周波数の少なくとも一周期を備える第2部分と、前記偏移周波数において前記変形を備える第3部分とを有する変調された部分を検波するよう構成され、前記第3部分の長さが前記所定の周波数の一周期に対応し、前記偏移周波数の1.5周期に対応し、前記第2部分は、前記第1部分と前記第3部分との間にあり、前記第1部分、前記第2部分及び前記第3部分は連続して位置することを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項4記載の機器であって、前記検波手段は、前記変調された部分によって生成される信号の周波数スペクトルに基づいた整合フィルタを備えることを特徴とする機器。
- 請求項1記載の記録キャリアを製造する方法であって、前記記録キャリアには、情報ブロックの記録を企図した情報トラックの位置を示すサーボ・トラックが設けられ、前記サーボ・トラックには、物理的パラメータの実質的に正弦波の単調である変形が所定の周波数において設けられ、前記変形は、
前記所定の周波数において前記変形のみを有する変調されていない部分、及び
前記変形の周波数及び位相が、前記変調されていない部分の前記所定の周波数及び/又は位相から偏移する変調された部分により、記録キャリア情報を符号化するために変調され、前記変調された部分と前記変調されていない部分との間の偏移は、実質的に連続するよう前記変形の勾配を保っており、前記偏移は、前記正弦波の変形の最小値及び/又は最大値に位置することを特徴とする、記録キャリアを製造する方法。
