Claims (1)
- 複数のバンクを有すると共にターボチャージャを備える多気筒内燃機関であって、前記多気筒内燃機関はエンジンルーム内に横向きに配置され、各バンクの排気マニホルドにはバンク毎の排気通路が接続され、最も車両前側に位置するバンクの前記排気通路に前記ターボチャージャのタービンを設置して、前記ターボチャージャを前記エンジンルーム内の車両前方位置に配置させ、最も車両後側に位置するバンクの前記排気通路には、機関本体近くにおいて触媒装置が配置され、機関始動時には、前記最も車両後側に位置するバンクのみを運転することを特徴とするターボチャージャ付内燃機関。
