Description
本発明による方法の有利な生成物は1−オクテン、1−ペンテン、イソブテン又は1−ブテンである。
実施例1: Ba変性されたAl2O3触媒の製造
本発明による触媒を製造するために、Axens社の<300ppmのNa2O含有量を有する酸性γ−酸化アルミニウムを使用した。225m2/gのBET表面積及び0.68ml/gの細孔容積を有する酸化アルミニウムを押出物(4〜6mmの長さ及び1.25mmの直径を有する円柱)として存在した。酸化アルミニウムを酸化バリウム(BaO)で塩基性変性するためのバリウム前駆体として、硝酸バリウムBa(NO3)2を使用した。
Naで変性されたAl2O3触媒の製造のために、実施例1に記載された、Axens社の<300ppmのNa2O含有量を有する酸性γ−酸化アルミニウムを使用した。含浸溶液として、水性苛性ソーダ液を使用した。Al2O3ストランド押出物上への苛性ソーダの塗布及び触媒の熱的後処理(乾燥及びか焼)は実施例1に記載された方法により実施した。
1−メトキシオクタジエン(1,3−ブタジエンとメタノールとのテロメリゼーション生成物)の水素化により得られた1−メトキシオクタン(1−MOAN、メチル−n−オクチルエーテル)を、約98質量%の純度(高沸点物2%)で、触媒の存在で、電気加熱された貫流−固定層反応器中での分解のために使用した。触媒(Kat.1)は、Axens社の商品名Spheralite 521Cの、市販の表面積の高い酸性γ−Al2O3(BET表面積225m2/g、細孔容積0.63cm3/g)であった。
1−メトキシオクタジエンの水素化の生成物の1−メトキシオクタン(1−MOAN)を、約98質量%の純度(高沸点物2%)で、実施例3に記載されたように貫流−固定層反応器中で、実施例1からのBaOで変性された酸化アルミニウム(BaO 1.0質量%を有するAl2O3)の存在での分解のために使用した。反応器中で300℃の反応温度及び1barの圧力で、1時間当たりメトキシオクタン50gを、気相で円柱の形状の触媒14.1gを通過させた(3.5h−1のWHSV値に相当)。実施例3と同様に、ガス状の生成物を冷却器中で冷却し、液状の形でガラス容器中に捕集した。
実施例3及び4と同様に、1−メトキシオクタジエンの水素化の生成物の1−メトキシオクタン(1−MOAN、メチル−n−オクチルエーテル)を気相−分解用の出発物質として貫流−固定層反応器中で使用した。触媒として、実施例2からの苛性ソーダで変性された酸化アルミニウム(Na2O1.5質量%を有するAl2O3)を使用した。反応器中の350℃の反応温度で、1時間当たりメトキシオクタン25gを気相で押出物の形の触媒13.5gを通過させた(1.8h−1のWHSV値に相当)。ガス状の生成物を冷却器中で冷却し、液状の形でガラス容器中に捕集した。この分解生成物のGC分析を、表1の第4列に記載した。表1から推知できるように、1−MOANはNaで変性されたγ−酸化アルミニウム(Kat.3)でも、3−、4−オクテンのわずかな形成下で、所望の有用生成物の1−オクテンに対して高い1−オクテン選択率で分解される。約86.2%の1−MOAN転化率で、次のオクテン選択率が達成された:有用生成物1−オクテン選択率93.8%、副生成物の内部C8−異性体:2−オクテン選択率3.9%及び3/4−オクテン選択率0.5%。
Oxeno社の99.94質量%の純度を有するメチル−tert−ブチルエーテル(MTBE、tert−ブチル−メチルエーテル)を、接触気相分解用の出発物質として貫流−固定層反応器中で使用した。この分解用の触媒として、実施例2からの苛性ソーダで変性されたγ−酸化アルミニウム(Na2O 1.5質量%を有するAl2O3)を使用した。
Claims (8)
- 一般構造(R1)−CH 2 −CH 2 −O(R2)(式中、R1は1〜14個の炭素原子を有する炭化水素基を表し、R2は1〜4個の炭素原子を有する炭化水素基を表す)を有する1−アルコキシアルカン又はtert−ブチルメチルエーテルの接触分解による3〜16個の炭素元素を有する一般構造(R1)−CH=CH 2 (式中、R1は上記の意味を有する)を有するα−オレフィンの製造方法において、前記分解を、少なくとも1種の塩基性アルカリ金属酸化物及び/又は塩基性アルカリ土類金属酸化物0.01〜10質量%を含有する酸化アルミニウム及び/又は二酸化ジルコニウムを用いて実施することを特徴とする、α−オレフィンの製造方法。
- 塩基性アルカリ金属酸化物として、酸化カリウム及び/又は酸化ナトリウムを使用することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 塩基性アルカリ土類金属酸化物として、酸化ストロンチウム、酸化マグネシウム及び/又は酸化バリウムを使用することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 触媒が、更に酸化チタン、二酸化ケイ素及び/又は酸化トリウム0.01〜5質量%を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 接触分解を、α−オレフィンの10〜95%の転化率まで実施することを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 分解を気相で実施することを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 分解を100〜600℃の温度で実施することを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 1−メトキシオクタン、1−エトキシオクタン又はtert−ブチルメチルエーテルを相応するα−オレフィンとアルコールとに分解することを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
