Description
セパレータの一方の、又は両方の電極から付着する夾雑物を取り除かなければならない場合、機械的な洗い流し装置を使用する際に、固まった堆積物を効果的に取り除き得ないという問題がある。機械的な洗い流し装置を間隔をおいて操作するので、内燃機関の運転態様にしたがって2つの洗い流しプロセスの間隔は、セパレータにおける堆積物が上述した不利なように固まるように大きくされ得る。
発明は換言すれば驚くべきことに、機械的な洗い流しを行うのではなく、むしろ液体を用いて2つの電極の少なくとも一方での付着物を取り除く水力的な洗い流しを行うことを提案する。驚くべきことに、ブラシ状の洗浄体と比較して液体を堆積物に作用させる小さめの機械的衝撃にもかかわらず、電極表面を規則的にすすぐことで電極の確実な洗い流しを可能にすることが判明した。
図1において、符号1で全般的に、内燃機関のクランク・ケース換気装置の空気流れに配置される電気セパレータが示される。セパレータ1は、特に図2と図3から明白なように、3つの分離室を有し、これらに夫々1つの放出電極2が配置されており、管状のケーシング表面がシリンダ状の析出電極3を形成する。

Claims (6)
- 放出電極と析出電極とを備え、内燃機関のクランク・ケース換気装置の空気流れからオイルを分離するための電気オイルセパレータにおいて、
噴射装置を設け、この噴射装置は、供給管(4)を用いて噴射装置へ導かれたオイルを洗浄液としてセパレータ(1)内に両方の電極(2,3)の少なくとも一方に吹き付けることを特徴とする電気オイルセパレータ。 - 噴射装置のスプレー噴出が電極(2,3)の壁に向けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気オイルセパレータ。
- 間隔をおいて噴射装置を作動するための回路を特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電気オイルセパレータ。
- 上記回路が、セパレータ(1)を貫流する空気の流れ速度が小さい場合に噴射装置を活動化することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電気オイルセパレータ。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載された電気オイルセパレータ(1)の両方の電極(2,3)の少なくとも一方を洗浄するための、洗浄液としてのオイルの使用法。
- 上記オイルが内燃機関のオイル循環から取り出されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の使用法。
