含まれる過程がより少ない場合もある。行為の数を減らすひとつの方法は、一体化された装置によって複数の機能を結合することである。
図1Aおよび図1Bを参照すると、本発明にもとづく例示的なシステム2が開示されている。そのシステム(装置)は、試験細片4を発射するための駆動特徴部を含むメーターからなる。メーターの(測定)結果の表示および/またはシステム2を使用するための動作の利用者への指示のためにスクリーン6が設けられている。その他の外側から見ることのできる特徴部には、必要に応じて設けられる調節ノブ8、キャップ10、およびインターロックボタン12がある。
上述されたように、バイオセンサーおよび前方を指している切開部材を一体的に含む多くのタイプの試験細片が本発明で用いられる。しかし、いくつかの例のうちでも、代理人整理番号LIFE−035の特許出願「生理学的な試料の採取装置および方法(Physiological Sample Collection Devices and Methods of Using the Same)」に記載された試験細片が最も好ましい。そのような装置の製造および使用に関して上記特許出願に記載されている。しかし、大まかな説明を以下に行なう。
(A)第1の本体部分と、
上記第1の本体部分に摺動して受容される第2の本体部分と、
複数の未使用の試験細片を受容するように適合されたマガジンと、

上記第1の本体部分および上記第2の本体部分が互いに収縮するように動くことにより、上記試験細片連結部材が前進して、上記マガジンからひとつの上記試験細片を取り出して、上記試験細片の少なくとも切開部分が上記第2の本体部分の面を通過して組織部位を穿通するように、上記第1の本体部分および上記第2の本体部分が適合されている、検体検出システム。
(1)マガジンが第2の本体部分によって保持されていて、第1の本体部分および第2の本体部分が、上記第1の本体部分に保持されたレバーを有するように適合されていて、上記レバーが第1の端部および第2の端部を有し、上記第1の端部が上記第2の本体部分によって駆動されて、試験細片を発射するために上記第2の端部および試験細片連結部材の間のばねを起動する、実施態様(A)記載のシステム。
(2)ボタンをさらに有し、第1の本体部分および第2の本体部分が上記ボタンが押し下げられたときに互いに相対的に動くように適合されている、請求項1または実施態様(1)記載のシステム。
(3)メーターの検査要素およびメーターのスクリーンをさらに有する、請求項1、実施態様(1)〜実施態様(2)のいずれかに記載のシステム。

請求項1に記載のシステムを提供する過程と、
第2の本体部分の面を検査部位に向けて配置する過程と、

上記システムを検査部位から取り除く過程と、

Claims (13)
- 第1の本体部分であって、上記第1の本体部分に旋回可能に接合し、第1の端部においてランチャーばねによって試験細片連結部材と動作可能に接合するレバーアームを含む切開機構を有する第1の本体部分と、
上記第1の本体部分に摺動可能に受容される第2の本体部分であって、起動拡張部分を有する第2の本体部分と、
複数の未使用の試験細片を受容するように構成されたマガジンと、
を有し、
上記試験細片連結部材が前進して、上記マガジンから試験細片を取り出し、上記試験細片が穿刺通路にそって前進するように、上記レバーアームを旋回させるために、上記第2の本体部分の上記起動拡張部分は、上記切開機構の上記レバーアームにおける第2の端部と係合可能である、検体検出システム。 - 上記マガジンが上記第2の本体部分によって保持されていて、少なくとも一つの上記試験細片の切開部分が、組織部位を穿通するように上記第2の本体部分の表面を通過するように試験片を発射させるために、上記レバーアームが旋回し、上記レバーアームの上記第1の端部と上記試験細片連結部材の終端部との間の上記ランチャーばねを作動するように、上記第2の本体部分によって上記レバーアームの上記第2の端部が作動可能である、請求項1に記載のシステム。
