Description
ガラスの原料はカレットを除いてすべて結晶物であるが、これらを混合して高温で溶融すると液体(ガラス融液)となる。通常の物質では融液を冷却すると再び元の結晶状態に戻るが、ガラスになる組成物の場合には、冷却過程で液体の粘度が急激に増加することによって、結晶に戻らずに溶け合った液体のまま構造が固化してしまうことになる。これがガラスである。従って、ガラスは液体に近い構造を持っている。
こうしてガラス中に結晶が析出・成長して、肉眼で観察されるようになった時に「ガラスが失透した」「ガラスに失透物が析出した」などと言う。
Claims (7)
- 重量%で、SiO2を58.0〜64.0%、Al2O3を15.0〜18.0%、B2O3を8.5〜11.0%、ZnOを2.0〜4.5%、MgOを4.5〜11.0%、Na2Oを0.5〜2.0%、Li2Oを0〜1.0%含み、
CaO、P 2 O 5 、SrO、BaO、K 2 O、PbO、TiO 2 を含まないことを特徴とする耐熱性ガラス。 - 重量%で、Y2O3を0〜7.0%含む請求項1に記載の耐熱性ガラス。
- 30〜400℃の範囲における平均熱膨張係数が40×10−7/℃以下で、且つガラス転移点が650℃以上である請求項1又は2の耐熱性ガラス。
- 重量%で、Li2OとNa2Oとの合計量が1.0%未満である請求項1,2又は3の耐熱性ガラス。
- Li2Oを0.1〜0.5重量%含む請求項1,2,3又は4の耐熱性ガラス。
- 請求項1,2,3,4又は5に記載のガラスを用いた反射鏡基板。
- 請求項6に記載の反射鏡基板の表面に多層反射膜を形成してなる反射鏡。
